I ordered the 2 pc top in black, size XL. I normally wear a small or medium but I read the reviews that said it runs very small and this was confirmed when I received the item. I probably could have gotten a large and the tank top would have been a perfect fit, but then the mesh portion of the top would have been too small to fit as pictured.With the 2 pieces being separate I found that the mesh part is more of crop top. So in order to have it drop off the shoulder, the bottom seam needed to sit higher on the body than what the photo shows. I understand there’s 2 options for this top, the other one being a one piece that’s connected, maybe the photo shows that one?Overall it’s a cute top and I’m pleased with how it looks, but I’m glad I followed the advice in the other reviews to order 2 sizes up from what you normally wear.

Bought this for an 80s theme party. Very comfortable, beautiful bright colors... really like this set!

So, I ordered a small for my daughter hoping it would fit her. It was too big as expected (she's only 11), but it looked big so I tried it on. It fit me, but snug. I can wear anything from a med to a xxl. I liked it because it felt more cotton like then that polyester feel so I sent it back and ordered an XL because I like things loose. XL was a different shade of pink, NOT that nice cotton feel and WAY too big. So, I sent that back and ordered a large. The large was a darker shade of pink, also polyester and not cotton like and it was too tight, almost felt like the small. Sizing is weird on these. I bought a few more like this shirt in those sets (for an 80's party) from other sellers and those sizes and colors were also all over the place. Some consistency would be nice. I really hate returning things to amazon because if I return too many at once they say that they never got this or that and try to not refund me for them.

My wife needed a Cyndi Lauper costume and found this with a search. She purchased and won 2nd place out of 70 costumed couples at a corporate costume contest. I purchased the large, could have gone with a medium but I'm not a fan of crop tops. The outer net top is more of a crop top. The inside tank top does run a little small. (I would suggest using your own). I got the large because I really wanted the net top to come off my shoulder and be a little longer to my waist. Perfect for what I needed it for. Came on time. I do recommend.

Great stretch to the tank underneath. The look is definitely retro! Fun for a concert or a costume!
