You definitely need to be tech savy to install this alarm
Hey, i purchased this, and installed it today.First issue, you need to have your wifi in 2.4gz not 5gz. That's not a problem for some, you have to access your router as an admin, change the setting, and when it's all set up, change it back again and the alarm system will still work. The instructions are very vague. It took me a while to add the host panel. Also for example, nothing to tell you how to turn the PIR Motion detecter hardware on. And I winged it to connect each one. (You need to name them, so you know.) Also, change the door sensors in the app to that.Once I started to get the hang of it, it all fell in to place. My only moan now it's all up and running is the outdoor siren, that has to be wired to the control panel, means you can't have the control panel by the front door, as the wire for the siren is so short. So I have my control panel at the top of my stairs, the siren out the window. The remote control turns the alarm on and off.4 out of 5 stars. It could be better, and have an outside box to show people there is an alarm and the siren within it. Hope this helps. 140 quid. Worth it!

I was sent a second hand control panel had scratches and the sound was cracking
When I unboxed this everything was perfect until I opened the control panel it looked like used had scratches and no protection on the display screen the sound was cracking and now even passcode I've setted to Arm or Disarm it doesn't recognise it and don't send me messages or call me. I have to keep setting it every few days. Tried contacting Amazon number of times but no response from amazon eventually I got a call from amazon and explained the problem and the guy just cut me off until today nothing is done and I'm not happy with amazon and the supplier of this alarm system

Really good value for money.
Had one for several years but I moved house and had to get another and was happy to buy the same again. It works very well and is excellent value for money. I don't think the manual is as bad as some others say, but there are some helpful videos on youtube if in doubt. One thing I did find is that on mine, when you start to pair a device it says something like "pairing device" then you pair the device and it again says "pairing device" rather than saying "device paired", so you get angry trying to figure out why it hasn't paired when in fact it has. I notice that this is not a problem on the youtube videos so I think I have a different, slightly messed up version of the firmware. Don't let it put you off though.

Not as good as I expected
The alarm system seems to work ok, and once you uderstand the setup procedure, its easy to add sensors. But there are problems with this alarm. 1- if you add external sounder it chirps when activating or de activating alarm. Not good late at night. 2- its does not keep good time, always wrong. 3- the remote fob buttons are not marked correctly, the at home activation button is marked wrong, and when pressed it activates the alarm, the panic button is the activate alarm when at home. 4- the external sounder is not loud enough. Small changes would have made this aolarm a lot better.

Very good but bad instructions
the single sheet of paper included as instructions is only useful for the codes . and it does seem a bit random on what zones it adds things to but saying that - it is easy to set and works well . ( btw the buzzer thing goes in the right 2 sockets on the back .Easiest way to set it up is add a sensor - arm the alarm ( before you but the buzzer in ) and see what number comes up on the panel use the remote to arm disarm and once you have all the sensors logged in then add them to doors and windows - NB make sure you change the 2 pin codes once you are set upTo use a function type the default pin and it will go into programme mode then type the code for what you want to do and add the extra info ( see their example of date and time) . BTW to get out of that mode do * #do as it asks for sensor adding ( zone is just the number you want the sensor to be - ie when it goes off thats the number the panel and the sms show ) and it doesn't actually say that the sensor it active it just beeps when you assign itMay be worth getting some 23a 12v batteries ( door windows ) and some 27a 12 (fob) 9v box batteries (pir) - all are included.Overall its damn good .
