I purchased these rings for my new Burris Veracity 4-20 x 50 w/MAD KNOB System.Leupold knows what they are doing with quick release rings and bases.I have three weapons with Leupold Quick Release Rings and Bases and they are superior in quality, functionality, durability and they hold zero when removing scope from base! They work plain and simple!When traveling I remove scope from my rifle and is stored in it's own cutout and placed back on my rifle when at camp and plenty of doubters until fired on range checking zero. Then I hear I have got to get a set of those. They have never failed me!Buy them you will be amazed and glad you did.

The Leupold Quick Release Scope Base works an advertised. Would buy again. Easy to install.

Had a hell of a time figuring out where my scope was hoping to sit in relation to the barrel and such. You have the mount height, then you have the rings. I did end up getting info, making a decision, receiving them, having to return them, and get a lower ring for my particular situation...Err on the side of thinking you'll be too low.

They are Leupold, what's not to like? I liked the idea of being able to store my rifles and scopes separately, not to mention that being able to remove your scope makes cleaning your rifle a whole lot easier. I like the QR set up because it does just that, and my two rifles with this set up hold zero every time the scopes are remounted. My only complaint is that you really need to make sure that the locking levers are snugged down or the may loosen under recoil. It's probably not a huge deal when hunting as you're likely going to fire only between one and three shots to take down big game, but for extended range/practice sessions, you'll want to check every so often to make sure everything is still snugged down. It would be nice if they could come up with some type of ball detent or similar system to help ensure things stay locked in place.I also like that these scope rings are the more traditional style with only one set of screws for each scope ring. It gives them clean, classic, old world look that especially looks good if you have a nice wooden stock on your rifle. I could never understand the rings with 4 to 6 screws per ring; a little overkill for anything less than probably a .375 H&H. Use a little blue loctite and torque to the recommended spec, and you should never have an issue. Also, per a conversation I had with Leupold tech support, these rings are precision CNC machined and do not require lapping, which is a time and cost saver. In fact, they highly advise against lapping. If I recall, they even said that if you lap, you void the warranty. I believe the same is true of Warne rings as well.Any way, those are my 2¢. But for the minor issue with the locking levers petentially coming loose during an extended range session, I really dig this set-up and would definitely use it again.
