I fitted this electric gate lock to my AT 12131 topens gate opener. A great addition that ensures the gate is properly and securely locked every time and cannot be forced open. Very sturdy build and very easy to fit and set up.

I bought this for topens gate opener. Gateopener works without them but this automatic lock will give you extra security and makes sure the gate stays in place even in high winds.

I had initially purchased and installed the TOPENS A8131 Single Swing Gate Opener but soon realised that, because my gate was not true and did not engage positively with the "lock-end" gate post I required a more positive engagement mechanism. The Electric Gate Lock looked the ideal solution.Very easy to install on the Gate itself. The engagement pin did require some tweaking and adjustment to ensure that the locking took place very time. Now, after many cycles it has settled down to working flawlessly. There was a short period where it had to be decommissioned as the operator required some adjustments (following a period of high wind!) and it was missed by all users as the gate had to be manually operated for a time.

This easy to fit lock ensures my gate doesn't blow open in the wind & gives peace of mind security.

I've got a couple of Topens gate openers, A heavy duty one on a 15foot field gate and a medium duty one on a 12 foot field gate. Both work perfectly, But recently my local delivery drivers have decided it's easier to force the electric gate than to open the pedestrian gate right next to it :-(I tried a couple fo things (magnets, large signs) but they ignore the signs and push harder so the magnets don't hold.So I decided to push the boat out and invest in the ET24 gate lock.It's a whole new world!!!!! nobody can push the gate open no matter how hard they try and the lock releases when you press the button on the fob (or the remote button I have connected) and the gate opens as normal.Perfect. It does exactly what you expect it to do with no messing.Easy to fit and wire up (although the cable was about a foot short for my 15 foot long gate so I had to extend it)

Lock is easy to fit and set up. Its a strong lock for not a lot of money.
