remote switch for my inverter. works as expected. keeps me from having to go out in rain to turn it off in my RV

The switch is nice looking, easy to install, and works. This cannot be used with older victron inverters that are non-ve.direct. If you connect it with an older inverter it will blow out quickly and can melt down.

Edit: and number 3. I believe that none of these specific switches either work or were meant to work with the victron Phoenix. Third one doesnt work. Tested polarity of wires before use, didnt work. So maybe I thought manufacturer screwed up on + high and - low polarity so I reversed them, still doesnt work. Who designed these? So now I still have a hole in my custom wood drawer front that fits this switch exactly with no working switches. And was told a replacement was coming and that I didnt have to send the return in but i did get charged for it. So 50 bucks and no working switch.Edit. Recieved a second one to replace the fried unit and guess what, it never came on. Retested my victron inverter, it works, tested the remote function, it works. Victron seems to be a good company, however the packaging looked like products were either returns or took a beating in the mail. Ordered from inverters r us both times. Called customer service and no answer. I'll be sure to mention them on a youtube video so I can put the word out as we travel and film. Ordered this in October and it's been left in the box since then, I just installed it today, it flashed and my victron Phoenix inverter came on for a second then turned off. I reattached the switch and remote, nothing happened. I put the loop back on the remote connector to make sure my inverter didnt blow up, it did not thankfully. But the switch still didnt work. Has a sticker on it that says tested ok. Lmao apparently ok is not good because this thing fried immediately. I've been in the advanced electronics field for over 20 years as well, this should be a simple install and a trouble free switch.

Victron inverters come with on / off buttons. Mine actually has a three position switch with the Eco mode in the middle. This switch only has on and off positions and I find it rather redundant unless you have a need to put the on / off switch separately on a panel. Returned the item.

Efficient and well made. Designed to integrate into a system which goes online and communicates world wide freely. Easy setup and reliable. Puts out the power it’s rated for efficiently. Filled the bill and is very configurable. Setup is simple with Bluetooth dongle to phone direct or as I have networked with VE Direct line to a Cebro GX hub linked to battery shunt and solar MPPT from Victron. Love the setup.

Amazon quoted delivery date was missed due to10 day snail mail delivery from supplier but other than that, looks great!

I was nervous to purchase due to the negative reviews, however mine works just fine.

Doesn’t work…..period. There is a reason that Victron has a nice looking remote switch for $20, they can’t sell them. I would love to see the schematic for this switch. Interesting that sole of there other components have remote switch capability but Victron offers no switch. May be related to the problems with this switch.

Loro lo chiamano Pannello di Controllo, ma è un interruttore di acceso spento.Molto valido, facile da installare, ha un telaietto in acciaio inox da fissare sul punto di installazione con viti (in dotazione), e la scatoletta con pulsante si applica a pressione.Cavo lungo circa 1,5 mt che permette di arrivare in posizione comoda.Con l'interruttore su ON (I) si accende una spia blu che conferma l'accensione.Utile, facile, semplice: consigliato !
