Perfect for my kids starting piano
I have basic music education so I am able to use these cards to help my girls (ages 4 and 6). They just started piano a month ago and I want the lessons to be worth it, I want them to truly excel as fast as possible. Currently I will be using these cards to clap rhythm together, we are only on the stage one and they are just loving it!

Handy Reference Material
I like the fact that the Alto (C) clef is included, but I would still like to be able to design my own Professional looking Flashcards. If I could tailor the cards to the way that I teach, my students would find them much more accessible. They usually end up making their own with oversized recipe cards. I keep these in my desk for those minutes that would not otherwise be crammed full of instruction. After all, my student's time is worth money. I owe them.

I actually wish there were a few more complicated rhythms here, or maybe some longer exercises, but these work very well for what they are.

Highly recommend
I use the rhythms for my 2nd and 3rd grade music classes in regards to the easier rhythm combos. I like these cards. Highly recommend

USELESS as flashcards!
These cards are useless! These cards are supposed to be training NOTE NAMING, but they don't have the names of the notes (C, C#, F, etc) on them! They just expect you to be able to tell half notes from quarter notes, eighth notes, etc. I was expecting to be able to use these to train in naming ledger notes in particular. These cards might be useful in training sulfage. Don't waste your money on these cards!

Good for teachers but not so much for self teaching.
I just received my flash cards and my first thought was "man, these things are huge," then I realized they are designed for a music teacher to teach a class with. I bought them because I am teaching my self to read music so the biggest draw back for me is that the "answer" on the back corner is just a picture of what is on the front cover, not the note timing and letter. I am not sure if I will go through and add that information or not. The cards are very nice and well made, but if I remember correctly, even the math cards we used when I was in elementary school had the answer in the corner, not just a picture of the problem from the front. This makes it less practical to have someone help me with my self teaching since they would probably have less music knowledge than I do (which is not much).
