Godfather's Pizza Sauce, 14oz (3-Pack) No Added Sugar, Restaurant Style Italian Pizza Sauce

Tangent: Sadly there is only one sit down full restaurant Godfather’s left in my area which is a pretty big metro area. Several years ago there were 3 locations - we do have several gas station/godfather’s “express” which seems to be the direction the company has been pushing for expansion recently which I find as unfortunate. In my opinion it cheapens the brand and the quality and variety doesn’t come close to having an actual restaurant. If the corporate headquarters reads this, please encourage more sit down restaurants again and do whatever is necessary to make that happen before you lose the few that are remaining and any recognition that comes with it. You have a quality product when made under the right conditions, and good sauce! Anyways, enough of my tangent -Review: The sauce is excellent. One review below mentions the simple ingredients and that it’s relatively healthy and keto friendly which I didn’t know, but makes me feel good about cooking with it. I have made pasta and pizza with it, and I was very happy with the taste/results as it tastes very much like what you would taste in a godfather’s restaurant. The shipping price is kinda pricey, but it did arrive quickly and well packaged with a nice little note so I appreciate that.My only complaints are the cost - the base price isn’t bad but when you add shipping it gets pricey, so I only buy this on occasion when I want a “treat.” Would be nice if godfather’s would make this subscribe and save eligible and prime eligible to help with the cost and I’d probably be more of a “regular.”Overall, this is a great sauce and tastes very similar to the sauce at my local Godfather’s. It’s actually pretty healthy too if you’re into that sort of thing. The only downside is the shipping cost in my opinion, but if you’re looking for a small “treat” and have a few extra dollars and are on the fence about trying it, I’d say order it once and see if it’s for you - you might just end up ordering it again like I did!

If you know/remember Godfathers, GET IT. Even if you haven’t had Godfather’s, GET IT. So yummy! Brought me back to childhood and my birthdays. Godfathers was my request every year growing up. I used this with my homemade sourdough pizza crust, and it was nearly identical to what I remember! We made 3 pizzas and still have 1/4 of a jar left. 100% worth it. I’ll never let myself run out lol

Is the taste was great just what I expected

Unfortunately haven't had a Godfather's Pizza in my city, since the mid 90's. We ised to have three or four. So recently, I saw on Hodfather's Instagram that they sell their sauce on Amazon. My mind was blown and, I got excited to buy it. Just got it and made pizza using it. The three jars are very well packaged. The jars look great! The sauce is really good too! The pizza I made with it was good. But...I wish it taste like the Godfather's restaurant pizzas. It unfortunately does not. Not because the sauce. The sauce is like their sauce (cause it is 😂). But, people can't make their crust. And also getting the same cheese brand they use might help too? Now IF only Godfather's Pizza sold their dough as a dough mix. That would help get it very close to being lile you are eating there. When I make home made pizzas. I make my crust with some ingredients to give it a little extra taste. So when usimg this Godfather's Pizza sauce. I tried my best to make a crust that would (hopefully) be at least somewhat like theirs. But was not successful. It was still good. Just wish I could eat authentic Godfather's Pizza. Even if it is by making it. Let's hope they start selling their dough as a mix! 🙏🏼 I do recommend this sauce. It is really good!

Yeah. This is pretty bad. Its extremely tangy, bright, fresh tasting tomato-wise, but there's almost no herb or spice in it. Its not too different from a one-dollar can of petite diced tomatoes. I had to add Pizza herb mix to flavor this because it was so unbelievably bland.NOTHING AT ALL LIKE GODFATHERS PIZZA. I grew up on Godfathers's and Pizza Hut. I know how it should taste. Its barely mariana, certainly not Pizza Sauce and a world away from GODFATHERs.I would never buy this again. Just overpriced, bland, spaghetti sauce.

We were so happy to find that Godfather's sold their sauce online. We no longer have a franchise near us, but this is the next best thing! I purchase Martha White crust (also from Amazon) to bake that takes no time and comes in packs of three.My family always says it's the best pizza I've ever made, but it is no different than the previous twelve I've made for them;)

I ordered 3 bottles and 1 came damaged/NOT THEIR FAULT , they replaced it fast wonderful service , will order again .
