This was the cheapest hair dryer I could find on Amazon. It works great. There's only two settings low and high which is just fine by me. The first one I got was a dead on arrival but I exchanged of Amazon no problem. I'd recommend this one

The media could not be loaded. This is a simple hairdryer. It works well for travel as it is a smaller size. It does have two settings labeled as high and low however, both settings are high heat so despite the labeling which is included on the box that states it has two settings for heat and speed, it appears that there is only one temperature for both speed. There is not a separate button to adjust heat as other hairdryers often do. This one appears to have two speeds, but both of them are hot. There is no cool setting. I dropped a star simply because with two settings labeled as heat and speed. I expected to have a cool setting as well. I will not return it as this was purchased for my daughter and a great starting hairdryer for her. As far as safety goes, it appears to be appropriately wired with the test/reset button on the plug. We will update this review if we have any problems since we have only had the dryer for one day. I do consider this dryer a good value for the price.You know, I lost a job as a hairdresser once.I was finishing up a very wealthy lady’s hairstyle. As I laid down my hairdryer, I asked her what she thought as I held up a mirror behind her head for her to see. “What do you think?”She answered, “More volume please…”I yelled, “WHAT DO YOU THINK?”(and that is how I lost my job as a hair stylist) 😉

I bought this travel-sized hair dryer thinking, “It’ll probably just wheeze hot air and mildly annoy my hair into dryness.” I was wrong. This thing is a pocket-sized wind machine of glory.Don’t let the size fool you. It might look like it belongs in a hotel drawer next to a Gideon Bible, but it has the heat of a thousand suns and the power of a tiny tornado. It’s lightweight, it fits in my carry-on, and it dries my hair fast enough to make salons jealous.PROS:• 1875 watts of “I’m running late but still want to look vaguely put together” energy.• Two speeds and two heat settings—enough options to feel in control without needing a degree in aerospace engineering.• So lightweight I thought the box was empty. My arm didn’t even get tired. I could dry my hair and dramatically point at things like a beauty pageant queen.CONS:• Doesn’t fold, so it’s technically travel-sized but shaped like a hair bazooka.• Loud enough that it once startled me mid-blow-dry and I flinched like I was under attack.IDEAL FOR:• Vacations, gym bags, and emergency scenarios.FINAL VERDICT:It’s compact, it’s feisty, and it dries like it’s got somewhere to be. This is really easy to use and I love that it's small so it's not so heavy to hold and I love how quickly it dries my hair.
