Good quality pencils.
It’s took a while to arrive from Europe. But the pencils are a good quality and nice colors.

Not artist quality. Adequate for grade school.
I am disappointed with this product. I was hoping to get more of metallic Faber Castell pencils my daughter was gifted. These are not the same. The lead is harder, the colors are different, the pigment is weaker, and they are closer to being the quality of Rose Art or Crayola than artist quality. These are fine if you are giving them to small children, but less so if being given to older kids or artists.

Nice
Good colors. They do color darkly.

not metallic looking
I love Faber Castell pencils but I was disappointed in these. Not metallic looking unless the light hits it at a certain way. The colors are not even that great.

I'm a fan, my dreams came true. There is a better pencil!
I received these as a gift from your store off of my wish list and I must say they are wonderful. I've been wanting colored pencils from you guys for a long time, but I am so poor. lol :'3 So I am very lucky and blessed to be able to try these out. So far I am really liking them, and can't wait to use them on black and colored papers where the metallic's will show up in more abundance. I used these pencils in a watercolor and a graphite soluble work. The gems in my piece pop a bit more and don't look "white as if I left it alone" but have a highlighted feel, they sparkle which gives them dimension. I have become so used to using Crayola or Colorific metallic's throughout the years that I was surprised by these. My favorite part about these pencils is that they color smoothly and richly. There is an assortment of beautiful bright colors that will be fin to use with fantasy and whimsy art. I was quite shocked at how stiff and strong the lead was yet how smooth the lay down is despite that. I really like how the pencils are shaped, it has a different feel and it feels good, ergo even, as I am used to using round pencils, I feel the shape better provides for a much better grip. The overall presentation is just beautiful from the shape, to the color, to the feel of the pencils. Thank you, I'm totally sharing these with my followers. :d I wish I had the option to share the art piece I used them in, but there looks like there is no option for a photo.Ooh Oooh! If your reading this, do you remember those fuzzy velvet posters from the 80's and 90's? Metallic's are so fun on those, if you've not tried it, go try it now!!! It's a great rainy day and zen project.

Can achieve a metallic effect with lots of time and work.
It is possible to achieve a metallic look with these pencils. IF you are willing to work at it. What I found worked was to apply many layers in a clockwise counterclockwise motion, then burnish HEAVILY. They have a moe metallic finish than some other pencils I have used, but the effect will never be as strong as pens! Nice colors and sheen. Shows up on light paper and black. IF you want instant gratification, stick to pens. The reason for only three stars is:1. The pencils are very thin, this is uncomfortable for me to hold, I won’t be able to work with them for long sessions.2. The core is very thin, not much coloring for the money.3. Points kept breaking and crumbling on the paper.4. One pencil arrived split and keeps splitting as I try to sharpen (Brilliant Bronze) VERY gently by hand. Dragonfly and Solid Gold are starting to show splitting.5. Sterling Silver’s core is off-center.These may sound like small problems, but if you are a colored pencil artist you understand!
