PERFECT for indoor T-ball. Excellent price and quality. So much so I bought 3 sets!
I was looking for some indoor balls to pitch at my 2.5 year old son who loves swinging his plastic bat. The heavy rubber/foam that usually comes with most sets are a little too small making it difficult to make contact, and when there is a hit, the ball goes a little further than I would prefer (i.e. over the fence, upstairs, etc). Enter the Champion softball set. Since each ball has holes, it increases air drag and reduces the distance traveled even after solid contact. Furthermore, it is the perfect size (softball size) and thus large enough to give my son more chances of making solid contact. Boy, he loves the sound of his plastic bat cracking after a good hit! Be wary of ones that are "golf ball" sized, which is way too small. I believe that if a child is able to hit it, it will bring more joy to him/her and encourage persistence. The colors are super bright and that makes it easy to locate after batting practice. I am not sure yet on the UV impact as I have not left them outside for an extended period of time yet. However, I can definitely comment on durability. I once accidentally stepped on one and the ball caved in. I was panicking because I didn't have ice cream to cheer up my son if I had to tell him one of his favorite toys was crushed by my big right foot. To my surprised, I was able to easily pop it back into shape with no cracks or the dreaded white plastic creased line! Awesome plastic they are using!!! And no, they do not have any odor to them if that's what you're thinking. Love this set. I saw this at some toy/hobby place priced individually at $3 a ball. Of course that's great if you want to choose your own colors. So yes, this is a bargain at under $8 for a set of six. Did I mention I bought 18 or 3 sets? Perfect for pitching to my son for a good amount of time before having to collect the balls again. If my son 20 years from now goes to the Majors or is a MLB homerun champion, It's because of this softball set!!!!

GREAT PLAY BALLS FOR KIDS
CHAMPION SPORTS PLASTIC SOFTBALL SETOur grand kids are here a lot and we love to be out in our back yard. They love to play catch or hit at balls with this goofy over sized plastic bat we have had forever. These CHAMPION SPORTS SOFTBALL set is perfect for these little kids. They come in six bright colors -- yellow, orange, red, green, blue, and purple. They are heavy and sturdy, while at the same time, they are light weight enough for the little ones to throw and [sometimes!] catch. They have invented a game where some of the colors are bad and some of the colors are good. If you get hit with the BAD color, BAM - you lose. They also like to get on a swing -- one swings and the other throws the balls gently at them and tries to hit them. We also just play catch with them. Fun kid stuff. We also have a two year old dog who loves balls. One of the balls got in the paws of our Diego. His vampire-like teeth chain-sawed their way right through that ball. He didn't ruin it; the kids can still play with it but not while Diego is out. I was hoping these would work as a 'dog ball' for him but not for Diego. However, that being said, I did see some reviewers who purchased these balls specifically for their pets and had no problems with them chewing/ruining them.Anyway, our grand kids love these balls and so far they are getting a good work out! Maybe I will purchase another pack for here and another one for their house too.Recommended.

Holey Balls Batman!!
These are round plastic balls with holes and are brightly colored. We purchased them for a minute to win it game. Unfortunately they did not work as hoped and I could not use them. No fault of the balls, rather the rope I was going to use wasn't a good fit. I kept the balls anyways, just in case I came up with a different use. They seem like a good quality.

Great Dog Toy!
Great Dog Toy! IF (and only IF) you have a dog that does NOT chew its toys to shreds, these balls make great play toys.Using only 2 balls from the set of 6 at a time, my (mini schnauzer) dog locates them under a table, paws and kicks them ten plus feet, and chases them at warp speed around the hallways and house creating his own soccer game. On occasion, I take a 5' green garden plant pole, insert into one end into one of the ball holes, and fling the balls like a hockey puck down the hall or across the room for him to chase. The balls have held up well outdoors as well. (For pet safety, always monitor your pet with any item as well as the wear and tear, regardless of whether the item is designated for a pet or not.)
