Bob Ross Soft Blender Brush 5

This is the soft blender that Bob started to use in later seasons, on happy clouds etc.Great brush but be aware this is the German made version, there is another listing for the USA made one. The USA made products are in my opinion better quality.You'll need two, one for dark colours and one for light.You'll be using a light touch with this brush so paint should not travel too far down the bristles. Wipe off any excess paint on a paper towel. Then clean carefully in Bob Ross OMS thinners. Do not over saturate this brush with thinners. Even though its natural camel hair its much finer than the rest of the range and will take on a lot of liquid. Then you'll have quite a job getting it dry.Edit. See the other reviews with pictures to see what happens when you oversaturate this brush.Please don't attempt to 'Beat the Devil out of it' to dry it out unless you're outside. OMS vapour is not something you want to be taking into yours lungs in an enclosed space over a prolonged amount of time.Happy painting!

I'm always looking for a great blending brush, and finally decided to pay Bob Ross prices just to try this one! It was expensive for what it is, very soft. Unfortunately overnight it had cracks in the paint on the handle even though it was stored flat after use to dry. Disappointed for sure!
