Works great for the mixture. This is not the JB weld product for steel repairs. It is more like a two part epoxy. I use it to hold metal parts of aluminum and brass where shear strength is not critical. Sets up quickly and is usable in 24 hours. Different formula than other JB weld products though it looks the same but it works well. I also use JB weld for plastics. Different formulas for different requirements.

Well, I completely forgot to close the gas door on my vehicle after filling up, and then I took my car to an automatic car wash! As I was driving away, the warning lights came on indicating that the gas door was open! I quickly pulled over, walked around my car to close the door, and to my surprise, the entire door and cap were missing! I had to return to the car wash and search through it to find the door, feeling quite confused about how I would reattach it or get it repaired. I purchased this product after researching online, as it claimed to be effective for automotive repairs, and it did work. However, the drying time was a bit inconvenient because I had to hold the piece until it became tacky, and only then could I carefully close the gas door and let it sit overnight. So far, it has held up well; the opening isn't as smooth, but at least there's no big hole in my car. I would say this is a positive aspect of the adhesive's effectiveness, though I wish it worked a bit faster in terms of tackiness and hold. The company has a solid reputation, and as of now, it’s still holding strong after about a month.

Bought this to attach a metal tube through a thick piece of plastic and and it holds really well! JB Weld in general is a great product and this is no different.My only issue, and this is on me and not the product, is if you only need a small portion, there are easier applications. Quite a bit comes out so please take your time.With that being said, it mixes really easily and applying to a surface is easy. The only mess would be from what you create. Although this dries relatively quickly, I still allow about 24 hours for everything to set. Once set, the hold is really strong.

This epoxy worked perfectly on my synthetic deck. After it cured I drilled holes in it and screwed the bolts for my railing.

Very happy with the strength of this adhesive. I used this to attach marble flower vases to my parents headstone and I’m confident they will be attached forever. Very easy to use and you don’t need much to get a good bond.
