Would purchase again. Held up nicely for first year of use by a saltwater pool. My kids have LOVED it. Held up to several birthday parties. Looking forward to 2nd season. Took approximately 30 minutes to set up. The backboard is in the sun all the time with no fading or opaqueness after a year. The net is still strong and intact. The stem that inserts into the base did corrode slightly, but mainly the powder coat just wore off. It took a little extra effort to disconnect and store for the winter with the corrosion, but understandable with strong aluminum parts, and not too difficult. The area in question is still structurally sound and inserts into the base so it's not unsightly. Rest of powder coat has been unaffected. The white base has held up to kids walking across it. When the base is full of water the unit is VERY stable, no tipping issues.

Much higher quality than the cheaper unit available on Amazon.

Super Nice…Classy, Elegant if you need to maintain a premium look and feel to your outdoor living space while getting some fun hoops in while in the pool to stay cool (99 degrees yesterday in the Bay Area).Arrived yesterday, took my husband about 30 minutes to get through setup and to fill the 25 gallons of water. I stepped in as the “helpmate” to put on the backboard, hoop and net…which was the toughest part of it all, as you have to get everything lined up with the holes while as the person holding the heavier backboard combination (me), while the other person works the screws and bolts to securely attach them to the arm of the pole (husband). Took about an hour and 15 min total.Nice quality, wish it was a tad less costly, especially given the plastic backboard, albeit it is super clear now I wonder how it will hold up to weathering and if it will become cloudy/dingy over time. I was under the impression the backboard may have been durable, tempered, non-breakable glass.Only downside is there are no wheels on the 25 gallon base (once filled with water) and it isn’t easy to move around or relocate on the deck if you want to reposition it over the pool. Definitely recommend the seller add wheels embedded in the base for future upgrade, otherwise it can be a deal-breaker. I saw another brand that had the wheels but all other aspects of the product were inferior to this one (e.g. size of hoop, height limitations, and opaque backboard made it cheap-looking).Tip: Contrary to the instructions , I recommend attaching the hoop/net combo while the base is turned face-forward over the deck rather than the pool…made it much, much faster that way because we weren’t compensating for having the backboard hanging over the pool while we were trying to attach it…and we had a bolt drop into the pool that way vs one that dropped on the deck and my husband didn’t have to jump into the pool to retrieve it…he had to jump in the pool to retrieve the one that dropped in the pool…which by the way, you have to hold them just right to screw them into the thread of the screw to properly fasten them.This one is a clear winner…white and teal/“Tiffany-blue”-ish creates a very nice look!

This basketball hoop was an amazing addition to our pool. It was very easy to put together with the help of another adult. It is pretty heavy duty and is very hard to tip. The clear backboard makes it appear more classy than all white plastic.Our family and friends have had hours upon hours of entertainment from this product.

I used this goal last year and it worked great. Set it up again this year when the pool opened and still working well. The only problem I have with it, is the backboard and arm tend to move around the vertical shaft when shoot balls that hit the rim. Perhaps I just need to tighten the holding bolts but I'm afraid I'll snap the fastener. Other than that small issue, this seems like a very nice pool BB Goal.

After my son and his friend destroyed multiple poop hoops, we decided to invest in this hoop. It’s a full size rim made with metal and bolted together very well. Would have preferred metal bracket that attaches the vertical pole to the backboard frame. However everything else is really great. This should last years and years. Happy with purchase
