US WW2 M1916 Model 1911 .45 Leather Holster Marked JT&L 1942 Premium Drum Dyed Leather

I bought this to carry my 1911 for camping and as a side arm while hunting.I wanted a holster that offered protection from heavy brush etc.This fit the bill perfectly.There are several versions of this holster with this being the more expensive.For those who are concerned about the metallic fasteners inside the holster the stud that holds the flap locked down has a leather patch over the inside.The copper rivets towards the top of the holster are positioned to not come in contact with the firearmThe area at the bottom of the holster where the tie down is located is blocked off.So no worries about scratches on your gun.My 1911 fit perfectly and the leather is high quality.Some of the cheaper versions may not offer the quality or protection that i listed.I love this holster and would definitely buy again if there was a need.

This holster is fantastic. Thick, really well dyed leather. There is nothing cheap about this holster. I bought it for a WW2 replica 1911. I couldn’t be happier.

This holster is so exact in detail that my grandfather actually thought i bought it from a WW2 veteran. The most noticable thing is the quality. Very thick drum dyed leather. The brass casting is the same as it was in the war. Sturdy and built to last. The leg tie is pretty thick and it takes some getting used to. You can take the leg tie off and replace it with boot laces. But its unecessary.I served in the Marines in opperation Iraqi Freedom. Not to proud to admit that but its the card i was delt. But now days the military uses plastic balistic polymer for everything. I hated putting all that plastic on. The serpa holster i used in service was good but plastic. I bought this holster because i wanted to relive the past. You know when quality and style still meant something.This holster is very usable. most reproductions are cheaply made. I was afraid at first that that was what this was. I was wrong. This holster was built tough and will last a long time. thank you world war supply and amazon for offering great products. I will frequent this supplier again for all my holster or other needs and maybe a few wants as well.
