Fantastic!!
*Important initial points*1. DOES WORK ON DCC - Despite what is advertised, this rolling road DOES work running DCC locomotives. I have testesd on many locos and all works well.2. EXTRA WHEELS NEEDED - I immediately needed to purchase the extra wheel pack that Hornby produce to run some of my locos. Comes with a set of 3 already installed. Bear that in mind when purchasing.3. POWER SUPPLY TO TRACK - the track is powered using the Hornby style power connection. Your controller wires will therefore need to be compatible with this set up (i.e would not work with a bachmann power wire plug)Overall - I find this rolling road really easy to use. Set up is plug in and go, and the only fiddling involved is the lining up of the wheels on the loco to the wheels on the rolling road...The device comes with rubberised non-slip feet, and has a nice robust heavy feel to it.All in all its the best rolling road in comparison to other brands out there...and definitely worth the money spent!

Great rolling road.
Got this great item in a Amazon deal, great precision engineered unit, work straight out of the box, the driving wheels sit on the rollers, great for single bogie drive locomotives Hornby (Railroad), I also purchasedA spare set of rollers that were also at a great price.

Rolling road
This rolling road as they call it is brilliant, you just wire it up to your controller put your locomotive on making sure the rollers are set under the driving wheels and start the loco up, if your locomotive is tender driven, no worries, you just set the locomotive and tender the other way round and set the rollers under the tender motor driven wheels instead real easy, have fun

Good buy
Excellent piece of kit and well discounted at the time.Easy to use and very robust and well designedIt is dcc compatible but be careful of short circuits.Bizarre that it’s advertised a live steam, when almost no one will have a live steam oo gauge locomotive.Recommended. Ignore the other review that says it slowed after 30 seconds…that’s a locomotive issue not the rolling road. der!

More stable, less fiddle than track mounted roller sets
Having a connection based and solid unit offers far more than independent roller sets that sit on existing pieces of track. These can all too easily be knocked over and connecting wires can get easily tugged at, resulting in locomotives being knocked off and damaged.
