Great book and worth purchasing
One of the most useful textbooks I have ever gotten. If you can afford to buy instead of rent I recommend doing so. This book teaches you how to write a resume, prepare for an interview, write a professional email and so much more. I wish I had bought this. Instead I ended up making copies of the pages I knew would be useful in the future. When my friend from another school felt underprepared for the job hunting process I let her make copies of some of the pages too and she said it was really useful during her interviewing process. Now she is an accountant with a starting salary of $60,000!I definitely never recommend buying books because who has the money for that, but some books are worth investing in and this is definitely one of those!

The book and information was very straight forward, and did not have to include other books to do research for class. I suggest this book students trying to improve resumes' and proper ways to adapt to companies in diverse back grounds ethic, companies in other countries, and people in huge diverse companies.

If you have a tablet or a kindle or don't mind reading information off of your computer I would recommend the digital download
I did the digital download of this and it was so much cheaper than buying hte book. If you have a tablet or a kindle or don't mind reading information off of your computer I would recommend the digital download, It had the same information than any physical book!

Boring and long, but good chapter summaries
This is boring, even for a textbook, and honestly, for a book that talks so much on conciseness, seems longer than it needs to be. The information is really straightforward, and I only ever read the summaries when I was studying for tests. That was a positive aspect, the chapter summaries were the perfect balance between thorough and short.

Very good book
I got this book for my fall course in administrative office technology course and it is very well detailed it is up to date with all of the current technology of 2016 very informative and very well written

Do not buy issues with premium web site access
Do not buy rip off. The description states:(with Premium Website, 1 term (6 months) Printed Access Card)But that is not the case. Access code DID NOT provide access to the Premium WEB site, publisher charged me $40.00 plus tax to get access to the Premium WEB site, that I had to have to comp[lete an assignment. Amazon relly should fix this deceptive description. Also, the publishers' support is worthless, no number to call and takes days to answer emails.

Just Buy Access Straight from Cengage
If you need this textbook for a class and you also need the online materials, I suggest just buying your access directly from Cengage. The access code that comes with this book basically just the eBook, so if you needed MindTap, you'll need to pay an extra $40 + tax to upgrade your access. MindTap on its own costs $94 + tax and comes with a printable eBook, so you'll save yourself some money and time. Plus with the 14-day free trial, you won't need to pay for the program upfront. This will give you time to get used to how the program works and decide whether you want to drop out of the class.A note of caution: check your grades. If your teacher is relying on MindTap to automatically transfer your grades onto Blackboard or a similar online course and grade tracker, the grades may not transfer. It's your responsibility to inform your professor if they don't.
