Extremely comfortable.
I love this thing. It's comfortable and easy to take care of. Enough room for two. Make sure to get a tatami mat and slip cover for hygiene purposes.

Comfortable, Light, High Quality, and Wonderfully Useful
I purchased this product because I have a ten month old son who is very cuddly and wants to snuggle in bed, but he is getting increasingly mobile and unable to resist trying to sailor dive off the edge of the bed every few seconds. Because my bed is very high, it was an unsafe place to snuggle and sleep with my little guy, even when he was feeling sick and needed some healing cuddles. This mattress has been perfect. It is definitely firm, but for us, that's exactly what we need, because squishy surfaces are not typically safe for a baby. Also, I didn't realize this, but the extra firm nature of his mattress on the floor has been wonderful for my back. I would like to note that I am a side sleeper. I don't have any problems with it being too firm. In fact, it is just very, very comfortable. It is not lumpy. It is very uniform, and padded and supportive enough to be a very comfortable bed for both myself and my baby. It is also wonderfully light. It's good for us, because we can roll it up and move it around as needed. I also get occasional migraines, and it is helpful to bring the mattress downstairs to wherever my son is playing, and I can lie down right next to him (without falling asleep, of course.) For families who could use a mattress that they can easily move around, this is a great choice. This is also a great choice for people who want a comfortable sleeping option for guests, for road trips or camping as long as you can bring your vehicle to your camping spot (it is too bulky for backpacking!) or even for a regular bed. I imagine it is a fabulous choice for a regular bed for people with limited space, as you can roll it up in he morning and put it to the side or away and use the space you slept in for a different purpose during the day. Anyhow, I am very satisfied with this product. I recommend it to anyone except those who don't like firm beds. If you are into water beds, this is not the mattress for you. But it is a high quality item for a price that really is a steal. It's both comfortable and practical. I am very happy with my purchase. Oh--and as others have mentioned before, this item ships very quickly!

Firm, cheap, delightful
Decided to make the switch. My old bed was too soft and was starting to hurt my back. I used to sleep on the floor, and my girlfriend has an expensive futon which I enjoy....So I decided to give this thing a whirl. It's pretty small when you first open it compared to a queen size. I ve had it for three days now and it looks like it's starting to stretch out some though. Now I'm using this on a frame with wooden planks, my euro frame from Zinus I believe. On the frame with no tatami mats it's a god damn disaster! I felt every plank and couldn't even sit comfortably. Easy solution... Broke the boxes the frame and the mattress came in and used it as padding on the planks. I would suggest at least two layers if you're going to use it on a raw frame. Presto! All better. The bed is pretty thin, so it's a very firm sleep surface, but I like the floor so this is slightly more comfy than that. The smell isn't that bad, was gone in a few hours. This thing rolls up great if you need it for that. The first day lying on this thing was not good. My back hurt, it was too hard and I thought the whole thing was a disaster. One day later my body is now used to it, spine realigned or whatever and I'm good to go. Had a great nights sleep. I ordered a two inch memory foam topper and I think once that gets here itll perfect for anyone...Honestly I don't think I even need it anymore, but whatever. Buy this if you like firm and convenient.Pros: cheap, portable, comfyCons: Not sold by Amazon so on your own for shipping back if you don't like it, slightly thin.Overall quite happy with this, and wouldn't hesitate to buy again!

I don't usually write reviews but
So I got this and paired it with the mattress in the similar item section (by the same company) because I wasn't sure how close to the floor I wanted to sleep.I have to say this is one of the best purchases ever. I am 5'2 and 220 lbs and my girlfriend is the same size as me. We both have plenty of room despite being on the bigger side and with the mattress, we can still sleep very comfortably on our sides which is a big thing for me. I usually have back pains when sleeping but thanks to this bad boy I had the best night sleep ever.I think it's a great replacement for a bed. I got it because I was moving in with some friends and did not want to buy a frame or a bulky, heavy mattress that would cost over 600 bucks. With this I just roll it up and throw it in the closet or in a corner and bam, more room for me and company hang out.For cleaning, I hear you can take the cover off and wash it, but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to get it back on perfectly so I just leave it in the sun for a few hours to kill any bacteria or mites that may have gotten in it. If it loses its fluffiness, I would suggest hitting it to fluff it back up, but so far mine has been perfect.I think the last bit is that like Japanese futons, I believe these are supposed to be replaced every few years, but as long as you take proper care of it, it will last a long time.

I've got no springs on me
I sleep better on this mattress than an inner spring mattress. The entire floor is my support, simple solutions are sometimes better. I do have an extra top pad because my floor is hard(no carpet or padding).
