Great value
Did the job! Used for back of speakers on my boat. Thinner than I was expecting, but it seemed to not hinder performance.

Slow Down and watch YouTube on how to install these, it is easy but you need to foolw instruction for best results.
These are straight bad arse. I am tickled that for less then $20 I was able to install these on 4 speakers in my Ford Ranger. I took out the stock factory OEM speakers and I swapped them for coaxial speakers from Rockford Fosgate Punch Series and some of Rockford Fosgate's component tweeters with crossovers. I now get a much higher quality, crisp, clear, bass filled output from the same head unit, no amp, not yet at least. I installed these Speaker Protectors and WOW, what a difference. I actually uninstalled these baffles just to see how much a difference they actually made and again, WOW. The speakers sound more faint and a good bit less bass without these baffles. The key is all in how well you install them. Order black silicone in a tube, this is necessary as you need to pierce the side or bottom of this baffle in order to route the speaker wires thru the baffle. Once they are thru, take the black or clear silicone and pack it around the base of the wire to reseal the hole the wire made. LET THE SILCONE DRY before you try out your system. I let it sit over night just to ensure the silicone was super dry as I was not trying pull door panels off again and reseal the holes. It is critical the baffle says sealed and is air tight. It is also critical you install the speaker right over the baffle sandwiched between the car body and the speaker frame, think of the baffle as creating a gasket between the body of the car and the speaker itself. If it is air tight Bass and other frequencies will transfer throughout the car much better. There are a few installation videos on YouTube, spend 30 minutes reviewing them to get familiar with how to install them. If you do the install wrong it will not sound like anything special. Trust me, I had to order all new baffles and reinstall EVERYTHING because I watched the video after I installed the baffles. Idiot. Good Luck.

Waste of money and time.
They are very very thin. I would have returned them but I sprayed foam insulation on them to see if that would make them protect my speakers better.

Thin,crackly,stiff plastic
These things are 3" deep, they touch the window when it's all the way down, they will not fit through an adapter ring and they will surely start to rattle at some point. Bad move on my part, but maybe I will need them for an 8" deep door later on.

Flimsy - Not Protection!
I wanted these to protect the back of the speakers in a boat from someone throwing something in the same compartment that the speakers are mounted into. According to the product name, they are supposed to be a "protector". The plastic is very thin, similar to those cookie trays in a package of cookies, or the trays that chocolates are in to keep them form touching other chocolates. I guess I half expected a bad product based on the price I paid, but I couldn't find anything else, so I gambled - and lost. Very disappointing.
