I cant say enough about this unit, its phenomenal.I needed an amp that was not to tall so it can fit under the seat and not have to modify the rails on the seat.I also needed an amp that was not wide, this amp is long one in one dimension and skinny in the otherI also needed to have ALL the inputs and outputs on one sideI also needed something that did not have a fan, because it was against carpet and in an awkward place.I got extremely lucky that this met ALL of my requirements!The sub pounds you in the chest, it goes really LOW and it has a pretty wide frequency range. I have yet to dial in the system and really tweak the crossover points and input/output levels on the amp for the sub. So right now the Bass is way aggressive and feels like someones kicking the seat with every bass note. It has a pretty decent range for the crossover point to the sub.The amp has a remote SUBwoofer level adjuster which i love because the amp is mounted where i cant get to it for easy adjustments but the adjuster is small and right next to my seat. Why is this imported , well because some older music lacks sufficient low end, and you can pump it in a second and likewise, some music is mastered way over the top and your able to drop the skull crushing drone coming from the sub..Awesome, im so glad i didn't get different product.

You can never go wrong with Rockford Fosgate with a proven record for years. We opted for the five channel amp for my 350Z due to install location and limited space. The amp sounds great and was easy to install. Perfect pairing with the RF speakers and high performance sub.

Great Amp! I installed this in my 2011 F-150 S-CREW XLT truck a year ago. Still sounds great! I've got it driving two pair of Infinity 5x7" door speakers and two 10" low profile Rockford subs in a box under the back seat. This rocks! I am using the factory head unit with a PAC module to bring the low level audio ins to the amp. I mounted the amp on the back wall behind the back seat. I cut out a form fitted area on the back wall covering and mounted it the the back wall with a 1/2" of birch plywood. Worked well. I ran 8 gauge power wire kit from battery to amp. There's a great YOUTUBE video showing where to find the open firewall hole to run the battery wire. It's on right side. Easy. I've got the low-level audio sires running down the left side floorboard under carpet and the battery and speaker wires running down the right side floorboard under carpeting. Several hours for a clean install but well worth it! I ran the remote sub level control up and mounted it on top of the steering wheel housing. Easy reach. I used a piece of black tape to cover the super bright blue LED. I tweaked on the crossover settings and gains over several days to get it dialed in. Excellent. It really rocks. Great clean sound, plenty of power and awesome thump! RF did it again.

Ah, nice to have a good sound system in the car!I would love to give this 5 stars but that plan is up in smoke! Literally, the first amp installed went up in smoke. Not sure what the heck happened, maybe the new amazon delivery folks beat it up on the way over. Either way, requested a replacement and checked every wire until the new one showed up. Couldn't find any errors so when the new one showed up, hooked it up and has been working great for a couple weeks now.Used the signal from the rear doors and only did 2 channel input.(never used 4 channels in my last 3 cars with stock audio, why start now?) Powers 1 set of components, 1 set of 2 ways and a 12" shallow mount sub in a custom sealed "box". I wasn't looking for super loud and powerful, just good audio over stock. It was also a good and enjoyable project.This thing can sure blast the speakers and the sound is crisp(to my ears, this isn't a $1,000 setup). Slowly pieced this together over a couple months prior to purchasing the amp and received good deals on everything. Kept the build under $500(out of my pocket I guess) and more than happy with the entire setup. Complete setup noted below.2014 Toyota Rav4AGM Battery upgrade(most def not needed, just thought I would - this isn't included in my build price) No other rewiring done and doesn't seem to be needed. Was a little worried I would need the Big 3 upgrade. Not noticing any dimming currently so I am holding off for now.Custom Sub enclosure made from fiberglass and molded to the back corner of my car.Polk DXI6501 for the front (Pretty positive these are the BestBuy version of the DB series from Polk)Polk DXI651 for the rear (Both sets were on clearance in store + I had a lot of gift cards to burn)Rockford Fosgate R2SD4-12 - Shallow mount sub(pounds way more than I was expecting in a small SUV)This amp to power it all.Used the iffy KnuKonceptz 4awg amp set to run about the 15 feet to the trunk of my car. I say iffy cause I am a little worried that it isn't 100% copper but I will deal with it for now(too cheap to care currently). Plenty of reviews say its decent enough. It is a thick wire and doesn't fit very well in the amp. If you look at their photos and read the reviews, you will realize they make their wire a bit on the thick end. I did trim it ever so slightly.Already had a lot of left over 16awg speaker wire laying around that did the trick.Overall a great experience, even if the first one was a bit faulty. With prime, I had the new one in 2 days and the new one sounds perfect!Great amp for the price! A++

I purchased this amp in 2019 and came back to say this is a stellar amp. Using the factory head unit paired with an Audiocontrol LC6 and this amp…this amp gets warm but never hot and I am using about 90% of the available RMS wattage. Very casual listening half the time and screaming loud the other. It’s double the price now that I paid in 2019 but if I needed a replacment I would gladly pay today’s price. If you need 5 channels and you have a midrange budget, this is your amp.

We actually got a different amp (bigger/better) because the seller is awesome. Hooked right up and rocked our boat! Buy here!
