Best At Price Point.
Considering the delicacy of electronics, this item was purchased to protect the AX-EDGE from unforeseen circumstances. The exterior is as sturdy as one would expect for a flight case. The interior is suitable, however, it appears to not allow the entire perimeter of the instrument to recess into the foam-carved cavity. I would have preferred to see this as it does for 95% of the instrument perimeter. Once the instrument is placed in the case, one has to push the lower section to allow the lids to align for the locks to be properly engaged. This is a subtle adjustment that is needed to ensure that all clasps are properly engaged before attempting to move the case. The interior storage area is sufficient to house a strap and a few additional items if needed appearing to seal to keep items from moving around/inadvertently rubbing against the body panels of the instrument. While this case is not as flamboyant as the European version, it's more than capable of protection barring catastrophic impacts.
