WOW. It is GREAT.
I acquired a roll of this stuff to replace the original masking tape that was included with my XYZ Da Vinci Mini 3D printer. An EXACT replacement for that original tape is impossible to get - as far as I have found, anyway. This stuff has been working great. If you take your time when applying, it will go down easily and cleanly, with no bubbles or wrinkles. I will then add just a bit of glue stick to the surface and WHAM! My prints stick BEAUTIFULLY to it.It works even better than the fancy-schmancy Kapton tape that I tried. In fact, it works so well that when prying my prints off of the bed, the tape lifts off of the metal bed with the print (maybe use less glue?) and I then replace it for the next print (it comes off of the bed also very easily and cleanly). At 100 feet long, that's... uh... 190-ish prints per roll, at (if my math is correct) about sixteen cents per print.YAY.Get it. You know you want to. And you will be happy.Edited to add photo of a BEAutiful installation. I love this stuff.

Excellent bed adhesion - perhaps too much
I don't like that this stretches like Kapton tape, where the 3M painter's tape hardly stretches at all, allowing for more easy application. And it tears a lot more easily as well when scraping parts off the bed. But, it sticks to PLA and especially rPLA like white on rice. For what I used to have to brim 20 mm, I can brim only 5 mm or not at all, and some parts I don't even need to heat the bed. I actually went through some tape in the beginning because my brims caused the part to basically permanently stick to the bed and I had to hammer them off, and be super aggressive with my scraper, hence buggering up the tape. So finding the balance to bed adhesion is key (my problems have been related to too great of an adhesion), but this will potentially allow for less brims and/or rafts, and printing at lower temps, or even for a non-heated bed.I found it to have similar adhesion to ABS as Kapton, but applies more easily (don't need soap water for bubble-free application), and it doesn't degrade and shrink like the 3M tape at bed temps >100°C. Haven't tried other polymers, but I expect it to be pretty good with them as well.

good color, great size, fair holding
2 passes of this fill my heated glass printer bed. It has good plastic adherence and when cooled it allows the printed item to be removed without tools. However, it does not stick to my glass as well as I would like, as some of my print jobe are 40 or 50 hours in run time the heated bed causes the tape to start pealing.

Great for 3D Printing
I have an old XYZ 3d Printer that still works great and I need to use tape on the bed for prints to adhere and this tape works great

May be too wide a tape
With 3d printing, using a wide tape like this I find kind of hard. To peal the tape back, it tends to break apart along the long size. My experience with tape is that you really don't need to have the tape completely covering the build plate. The first layer of my prints has a grid with gaps in it anyways. I think it is ok to have a gap of about 3/8" between tape sides. The quality of this tape seems to be pretty good, but I have decided to go another way. In fact, I like the glue I bought from Amazon that can spread with its little applicator.

It's good in some ways and not in others
I love the size as it makes it faster to line the build plate. When it's on the plate and it starts to heat up the glue softens way to early and it curls off bad. Much worse than the cheapo blue painters tape from Lowes. BUT where this is good is the texture and adhesion for your prints. I had excellent adhesion with PLA, ABS & PETG, in fact the PETG was so good I couldn't get half the tape off the bottom of my print even with a wire brush and water. Good thing it was a test print for something. I found it wold soon lift the print and tape off the build plate from the glue giving out versus the print coming off the tape. So now I use special clamps to ensure it stays down around the sides called binder clips :). No more tape issues other than sticking to well to the prints. Which leads to the last negative I guess if you want. The cheapo blue tape I normally use can be reused more than once typically. I haven't found that to be the case with this tape since would give way from the build plate and the heat would create wrinkles that never quite ironed out well enough again. In my uses so far I've used this from 50 to 100c and the tape curling up starts before 50. My next try with this might be to try no heat for the PLA or PETG if I dare to use it with that again.

Bye bye glue stick!
Xyz - Da Vinci Mini WifiPrinted on every speed available so far with a hollow up to a 50% infill not a single problemWorks great with a cold print bed so far after about 25 successful prints.Normal white masking tape or 3M painters tape with Elmers doesn't compare and it's amazing not to having to constantly apply paste waiting for the first layer to clearPeels up easily post print - maybe had to use a metal spatula twice to free object post print from really adhering to the bed. Normally I can just pop the piece off the bed by hand post print. The MAIN benefit for me is being able to print multiple objects in a single print without ANY major lift or prints coming loose.I know it's pricey but the time to get back is totally worth it and can now multi-task during a long print without feeling like I have to monitor it the entire time for loose parts floating around.

Whoa, this stuff sticks..... to my 3D printer bed.
When they say it has adhesion, it has adhesion. Make sure you put this stuff down like you want it. The roll I got just doesn't want to let go of anything (which is good). If you're having some bed adhesion issues while 3D printing this will probably help, however if you're not level and you're printing too close, good luck getting your print off the bed. This tape really sticks.I've since leveled my bed properly and gotten my initial layer height down properly, I don't find myself using this stuff much anymore. It's wide enough that really one and a half passes is all you need for a Ender style printer. Honestly this stuff is almost as WIDE as the printable area as it is.
