Environmental Technology Castin' Craft EasyCast Resin Jewelry Mold, 8 Artistic Shapes On One Tray

The shapes are wonderful. However, and this is no fault of the product, the mold does not bend well enough to pop the pieces out without potential damage to both the mold and the piece. It does say on the packaging to use a mold release and after trying it without I definitely agree. But other than that, I have a lot of fun creating with this!

The tray is of good quality with lots of fun shapes for resin. I used it with Easy Cast resin and without prepping it with a resin release. I washed and dried the tray first then let the resin sit for about 24 hours covered to prevent dust. The pieces popped out of the mold easily and looked great!

I used the mold to make jewelry for Princess Peach and Princess Daisy. Worked perfectly. Used the release agent that comes with the resin. Came out of the mold perfectly.

Just what I was looking for. Makes my resin pendants perfectly. It does take a little bit of effort to get them out of the mold. I do sometimes feel as if I may break the mold itself. It does feel like a cheap plastic. But overall I'm happy. I really wish Amazon would provide opportunities for every review to upload a photo. For some reason it's give or take if it's an option for me. I have a lot of great photos that I wish I could share.

Great for Jewelry making. Nice and easy to remove the pieces. It may not be silicone but it has not broken or cracked at all. Seems very sturdy. I would buy it again.

If a dull finish on your resin is what you are going for, you will love this mold! The mold itself has a matte finish to it and the resin picks that up. If you want your resin pieces to have a nice glossy shine, I would definitely suggest that you also purchase the Castin' Craft Resin Spray to use after demolding.I mostly use the Deep Flex molds because they are made from a more flexible and shiny plastic, so the pieces come out looking really nice. This mold has nice shapes, it just takes a little more work to get the finish I like.

I really don't get it, these guys are makers of resin, don't they know that in order for resin to turn out clear and glossy, the face of the mold should be clear and glossy too? Or maybe this is some error and they formed the mold but forgot to give it the glossy plating or something? The face of this mold is dull and completely matt, I've never seen such a sad excuse for a mold. It's a shame, because the shapes of the cavities are very nice. Well, maybe if you are looking for a matted effect, this is the right mold for you. I am regretting skipping reading the reviews before buying it.

I have had no problems with the resin sticking to the mold. I place it in the freezer for a few minutes, and the pieces pop right out. I don't even use the release spray.
