Equivalent or better performance as competitors for less money
Appears to be a high quality unit that provides good documentation and standards based charging protocols for a reasonable price. Thus far seems to work well for my application.

Perfect for diy solar generator
I was looking for a good output charging solution for my diy solar generator and these work perfectly! The battery is 12v 8.6ah and the solar panel generates 25 watts. Lastly, I soldered 2 solid copper wires to it extremely easily cause of the 2 holes in the board. My only warning is that it does get a bit warm (which is expected) so make sure there is some ventilation or air holes in your housing.

Works good but minimum input is 10V
These two converters arrived as two units connected together. i couldn't see a way to separate them, so I just wired them in parallel with each other and now I can charge two devices, or only one. The only drawback is that the minimum input voltage to make them work is 10 VDC, not 6 VDC as the description states. I tested them from 10 volts up to 36 volts and the output stayed rock solid at 5.1 VDC.

Best DIY USB fast charger module. Works with solar modules!
Im a EE and have owned many of these type modules. None I've written a review for to date. This is the best. These modules have performed very well on everything I have thrown at them. I use them on my Sunkingdom 18W solar panels as well directly for a great USB fast charging system resistant to solar interruptions. Quality inductor!

I soldered this on my cordless drill charger to have a way to charger my cell phone via a battery pack if the power goes out. Worked slick.

fast charge actuallly works
this is one of the few devices i found that will charge my phone and even say fast charging while doing it ive gotten four so far all work great

Doesn't work on anything less than about 10 volts
I have a project I was planning on running on a 7.2 volt rechargeable rc battery, but was having trouble getting the USB board to power on. Hooked it up to my bench top power supply and it took almost 10v to get it to come on, well above the advertised 6v minimum.

So far, really cool
Fast charging my Galaxy S21+... no problem. Stays cool as a cucumber and does exactly what I needed it to do. The board is small, seems well-made. As long as it lasts, this thing is a serious winner for my needs.
