Zoysia Plugs - 50 Large Grass Plugs - Drought Tolerant, Low Maintenance EZPLug

I have in the passed order zoysia grass from another company. My husband and I were shocked and how green the grass was. We thought it was fantastic that the grass plugs were individually in pockets. It was extremely easy to plant and maintain. We liked it so much we ordered more. Zoysia is great because it is easy to maintain. Many of are neighbors have trouble growing their lawns with grass seed. We keep telling them to buy zoysia grass plugs. Our lawn is so much easier to take care of. We needed some plugs for our back yard. Our front is completely covered with zoysia and green and growing.

We’ve ordered 4 times thru them. Each time the plugs came to us, all the plugs were green, bright, and healthy looking. After it stated that it was shipped, it always got to us the very next day, so the plugs were always in great condition. Very easy to handle. After planting and watering they took hold very fast, some within a couple days. We ordered last year also and those plugs spread like crazy. You can’t go wrong with this company, very impressed.

Grass arrived on time and it was very fresh. Covered a lot more space than I anticipated. Did not perfectly match my emerald version, but close enough to start filling in the holes left by last year’s drought after I put down the sod.

I got these plugs to help fill in a northern lawn that would always weaken and thin out during the summer allowing weeds to take hold. There are certain parts of my lawn that aren't shaded and get a lot of sun. So my requirements were to have the new grass survive these conditions and both fill in and blend in to the existing lawn. The plugs arrived green and healthy and they were easy to plant. I had read that some people think Zyosia is a good stand in for Fescue lawns due to more similar leaf structure. This is true, but Zyosia is also lighter in color something which may not be as noticeable when comparing online. I've also attached an image juxtaposing a Tahoma 31 plug at the top, the Zyosia plug at the bottom, and the current Fescue lawn around them. The Tahoma 31's color blends in better despite having finger leaves. I guess we'll see how it goes.

Healthy grass still growing well

08/16/25Zoyzia grass plugs.Recieved box of 50, opened box, center of grass in box looked a little brown. Planted them right away, 4" appart in 2 bare patches. Bare patches were where I had some concrete blocks piled as steos for dog training. Most look like they are growning. The center planted ones seemed to have died in the ground. They are full brown... all the others look green. I water them every night. This was my test batch to see how well they work.

I ordered one flat of 50 and they look great, so I just ordered 10 more flats.
