Okay, this is a very well built and well thought out product. If you are like me, you may have watched some YouTube videos and decided that buying a pump and gauge set is the right move.It is the right move for sure. However, there are a few differences with this package compared to the equipment that most folks use on those videos.The gauges are the same but the controls are set up differently. Most gauge sets have a red hose, a blue hose, and a yellow hose. Also they only have two valves. A blue valve for the low side and a red valve for the high side.This package set comes with a black hose that connects to the vacuum pump and the yellow hose that connects to your refrigerant can. This is really nice because you do not have to disconnect the yellow hose from the pump and then connect it to the refrigerant can while you are in the middle of the process. Also, the gauge set has two additional valves. One that opens or closes the yellow hose isolating it alone and a black valve that opens or closes the vacuum pump isolating it. So on the gauge head you have a blue, red, black, and yellow valves and corresponding hoses. On top of all these valves making sure that you are not going to get any air into the lines and other possible mistakes you also can open/close the valves at the connectors while opening all the other valves except the yellow. This allows you to make sure that you do not have any leaks in the hoses or gauges prior to doing the leak test on your AC System.All in all I am super glad that I bought this brand and I would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone.Now get out there and get that cold air blowing!!

I tried to use the vacuum pump from a local auto parts store that loans it out for free first. Turns out the blue hose on that system is unique to the automotive set up and cannot be adapted to the home A/C system. So I bought this kit and it worked like a charm. Hooked right up with the adapter I had bought separately and I had the mini split online and working in no time just like the videos showed. I can't offer an opinion on the freon (halogen) leak detector, it never activated so I don't know for sure if there were no leaks, or it wasn't working correctly. Prior to charging the lines they held isolated vacuum for over an hour.

I bought this vacuum pump to evacuate a ductless mini-split air conditioner that I installed myself. I am not a professional HVAC technician. The unit arrived in great shape. The instructions were clear. The manifold gauge set contained all the adapters that I needed to connect to the mini-split that I purchased. I have used it only once but it worked great for my application.

Local shop went from $50 to $140 to evac, test, and fill. After 2 uses this kit will more than pay for itself. Seems like quality components and got my Tundra blowing 45° again (from 80). Watch a few YouTube videos on the subject and save you and your friends and family some money.

It works very very well, it comes with oil to refill it and all the hoses and connectors. Very well packed and sealed.

Everything I needed to replace a blown-out o-ring, included all the fittings compatible with my R134a system. The included instructions are pretty weak, but I've done this several times before and their company video is really great.

Easy to use. Built very well. Everything fit perfectly and nothing leaked. Didn’t get that hot. And perfect speed.
