We get paid less than peanuts.
We no longer get paid peanuts, we get paid less than that. Federal minimum wage is $7.25/hour but a jar of planters peanuts costs $9.98... We've made it friends, we can no longer afford peanuts.

They used to be so much better!
These nuts have been the go to snack that I keep in my desk drawer at work and my cabinets at home. They used to be so good. In the past few months I had a jar that tasted like the nuts were rancid/burned. Expiration date was 1/23. My most recent purchase didn't taste like that but the nuts were totally flavorless compared to the nuts I have been enjoying for 25+ years. I'm becoming totally disenchanted with this brand. I'm going to give one more chance then I'm done.

Bland as hell!
Where is the salt and flavor in this can of nuts? I used to really enjoy Planters dry roasted peanuts. Apparently they changed the recipe. I thought I was going crazy until I did a little research. Nope, many many people have noticed this change and were not happy with the lackluster flavor of them now. Definitely a recipe change. So I have switched over to Fisher dry roasted peanuts which have that flavor and salt that I am craving. Bye bye, Planters!
