WoW. These are wonderful.
Had 2nd degree burns on my back from a heating pad. My whole lower back was burnt & blistered. I am also allergic to adhesive. The whole ordeal was a huge painful problem. If I put a bandaid on, when removing it, my skin rips off where the adhesive was. OUCH!!! We tried many other brands & they all stuck to my wounds when we removed them. We purchased these & WOW WOW WOW!!!! They were comfortable to wear. They came off gently & my body didn’t react to the adhesive. The difference was amazing. I will definitely use these if I ever need a bandage. Note: Never fall asleep on a heating pad!!!

The bandage IS 4x4. NOT the gauze. Gauze area is 2x2.
What this is:This is a 50 pack of gauze island dressings. I thought I found what I was looking for. Upon receiving, I groaned because I quickly realized that different brands size differently.If looking for the gauze area to be 4x4, this is NOT it. The ENTIRE bandage is 4x4. The other 2 brands I have used the gauze area is 4x4 with adhesive around it. The gauze is 2x2 inches.It does stick to the skin very well. Comes off without irritating the skin.It seems very breathable.Absorbency:It is a 2x2 area. Maybe a little more than a bandaid of the same size. I do need to use gauze also. The gauze does fit within the bandage well.4 stars:The size was disappointing though exactly what it says it is. This is a 4x4 bandage. Not a 4x4 gauze area.

Ok but Allergic to the Adhesive
I really wanted to like these bandages. They're easy to use and the perfect size. Unfortunately, the adhesive irritated my skin and left a horrible, red, itchy rash. The adhesive is very strong which is good because that holds the bandage securely, but it hurts trying to remove it. We'll have to keep searching for something that won't cause an allergic reaction.
