Major upgrade over stock router guide
I bought this to rout a long, straight channel. The router guide that came with my router was flimsy and couldn't be locked in place. This attaches to the router and is strong. It also has many other features useful for woodworkers. I own several Milescraft products and have yet to be disappointed. Also, their customer service is excellent.

Fits the ridgid R2901 mounting holes.Great tool if you're going to use it a few times a year, so for the price it is perfect for me.If you're going to use every day, you should probably spend more money on one that is built a more sturdy.

Works ok but has cracks in the plastic
I found it useful as a beginner with a new router.However there are cracks in the plastic, probably from when the brass nuts were inserted at the factory.Too late to exchange it.

Simple to assemble and use
Couldn't find edge guide in any outlet to fit my Ryobi router so I tried this guide. Amazon 2 day shipping saved the project and today cut 80 feet of dado joints and 20 feet of rabbet joints using the guide.It was a cinch to assemble and the base plate allows for any router mount. It comes with a centering bit and bushing to assure proper fit.Lining up the work was also simple and the guide slides with ease.Strong durable materials. Highly reccomend.

Great jig
Came exactly as described. Very straightforward jig. Simple to connect and align. Pretty light plastic but seems durable enough. Glides pretty easy over different surfaces. Orientation adjustment is handy. Overall a pretty good product.

This is great but is best suited for a plunge router
I bought this to get better control on my Ryobi trim router. This did the job but I feel it is better suited for a plunge router. The much larger router base makes it more difficult than the stock base to do any interior or offset work. If you are purely doing trim work with a trim router then this is good to have. It gives you a more steady feed rate and gives you more surface contact to prevent tilting and diving when using a trim router. All other features I have not used due to a lack of a plunge router. Everything is made from plastic aside from the screws but is thick and durable so I have no concern with durability. It would be an awesome addition if they could offer some type of plunge functionality when using a trim router. I knew it didn't have this feature so I'm not docking anything for that. This overall was a great purchase and makes my router more versatile now.
