This set is stunning, already plan on purchasing again to make a full set of 8. They are weighted and are like nothing I’ve seen before. This silverware complements my dishes and table so well. And I’ve soaked them a few times with no signs of rust

heavy duty silverware
My former flatware set held up wonderfully for 8 years but it was time for a more adult set. This set is sturdy and definitely quality, in my opinion. They are heavy, be prepared for an adjustment if you're upgrading your silverware drawer. I purchased these to be used as every day flatware, I took a picture so you can see that the teaspoon and soup spoon are definitely larger than my average plastic handled set (which I would say is more or less average sized for flatware). I can say that the finish is more brownish than black but it is definitely dark, and I think it may wear off a little with every day use. As the handles are not straight and off beat already, wear and tear on the finish from every day use will only add to their charm. I don't own a dishwasher so I can't comment on their durability in the dishwasher, and as you can see from my old set, even hand washing will wear something down over time. I felt that the price was fair given the quality of the materials and expect these to last for at least as long as the previous set, if not longer. I have not noticed any signs of rust in the week I've had these and while I feel they are much larger and heavier than my previous set, it's not going to be difficult to adjust to. But be prepared, because I was initially shocked at the size difference.

Beautiful workmanship
Metal work is far above average. This is not a dinnerware set with crude workmanship. Each piece is heavy, and slightly larger in size than normal. Extremely satisfied. Feels great in your hand.

Very Nice, Not Ideal.
Very Nice. Fit my Upscale Western, sort of "Lake Tahoe" design. While still quite new, I have had no problems with rust from dishwasher yet and have washed them about 3 or 4 times now. Fairly heavy and quite sturdy.Here are a couple of things that I don't care for.1) The tablespoon and the teaspoon are about the same size, leaving little advantage in selecting either one. Same is true of the two forks. They often get put into the wrong drawer slots as they are hard to tell apart.2) The teaspoons are very large and rounded. Not good for grapefruit or any other food that requires a more pointed tip or a more delicate size serving.I am certainly not disappointed, as I have found nothing better suited for my decor.
