This is a lovely tablecloth. I have a small table, 36” x 36” without the leaves, so I ordered the 55” x 55” tablecloth. It fits fine, but a couple inches longer on each side might look more dynamic. It arrived in perfect condition in the signature Solino box. When opened, the tablecloth was odorless and basically wrinkle free except for the folding creases. I ordered the red stripe, and the red is not bright; it has a beautifully faded, muted appearance. The background is “natural”, a rather very light tan. The two colors pair well together. The fabric is fairly lightweight but sturdy, it has a light linen texture, a matte finish and is a single layer of fabric. It is handcrafted and perfectly sewn with mitered corners. This will be awesome for celebrating Memorial Day, the Fourth of July and Christmas, but will also work year round. I have not yet washed it, but it is machine washable in cold water, gentle cycle.This is high quality linen, handcrafted, a luxury item and it is priced as such. Hopefully it will last for years to come. I am thrilled to have it!CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, wash colors separately, do not bleach, tumble dry low as needed,, low iron as needed, steam iron for a crisp look. I got this lovely tablecloth to use as an everyday tablecloth on my long dining room table because I know how sturdy linen is and I have another tablecloth by this same company and I know how well they make them. I was right to choose another cloth from Solino. The quality of the weaving and sewing on this tablecloth is top notch and the colors - a soft, natural linen and hunter green go well with my Fiestaware stoneware. The cloth, washed and dried on the delicate cycle comes through well and I iron it to get that lovely, crisp texture so unique to linen. (I confess that since I am using this daily on our table, I do place it under a plastic overcloth to protect it from stains.) The price is a bit expensive - especially when compared to the polyester tablecloths from your local big box store, but these linen tablecloths will literally last you a lifetime, unlike the polyester ones! Definitely worth the investment!

This tablecloth is well-made of a light, shirt weight linen material. The fabric is somewhat sheer, and not the same weight as the old-school heavy weight material that people used to embroider. I expected a lightweight material, so these meet my expectations.The table cloth does shrink slightly when laundered (washed) and it does require an iron. It's not at all wrinkle resistant, as it's linen. The tablecloth functions as expected.The pale blue and white stripes are crisp and the color is a lovely, modern tone.
