Instant Privacy & So Easy to Install – Love It!
I am SO thrilled with this HIDBEA Frosted Window Privacy Film! I needed a solution for a window that gets a bit too much direct sun and also wanted some extra privacy without losing all the natural light. This film delivered on all fronts, and I’m genuinely impressed by how easy it was to put up.Seriously, the 'non-adhesive static cling' part is no joke. I was a little worried it would be a fiddly nightmare, but it was surprisingly straightforward. Just clean the window, spray it with some soapy water, peel the backing off the film, and smooth it on. I used a squeegee to get the bubbles out, and voilà – instant frosted glass effect! The 23.6 x 157.5-inch roll was more than enough for my project, with some left over. The level of privacy is perfect; it blurs everything out but still lets in a lovely, diffused light, which has made the room feel so much more comfortable. I've also noticed the room doesn't get quite as hot in the afternoon, so the UV blocking and heat control seem to be doing their job too. If you're looking for an affordable, effective, and easy way to upgrade your windows, I can't recommend this stuff enough!

Perfect for Letting Light in but Not Nosey Neighbors
Update since I wrote this review: I have had these up for several months now, no issues what so ever. I live in Houston where our windows sometimes sweat, I've had no issues with this film staying on. I can leave my blinds open all day and when I go to bed I just close them. No one can see in but I close them in case someone gets right up to the window and peeks into a crack where I might not have cut the size perfectly. I know a few others have said theirs hasn't stayed on the window. I did clean my windows pretty hastily, but did clean them before putting my film up. Hope this helps.First Review: I just put this up today in one of my windows. I have no idea if it will stay put so check other reviews for that. What I know - it is absolutely what I wanted. It lets so much light in but doesn't show in or out. If I was close to the window, it might show an image but I'd have to be really close. It's plain, mostly opaque, and went up easily. Here are my tips: I didn't have everything to complete the job so I used my pancake spatula instead of a squeegee, I didn't have a box cutter so I made a template ahead of time and used that to trace and cut the exact size I needed. I didn't have a spray bottle so I had a small bottle from Bath and Body Works w a small amount of fragrance left - poured that elsewhere and used that small spray bottle. So, the biggest challenge I had was trying to pull the backing off, it took me a long time with each. When I do the other window, I will peel, then use my template, and I will make sure to leave something small between the backing and the window film (a sticky?) so I don't take five minutes each time trying to separate the back from the film. Hope this helps. I love open windows - live in a downstairs apartment, I will be able to raise the blinds all the way up and no one will be able to see in but I'll have the light!

Good but not great - worth the price
It’s good. Pros: really easy to install, use a lot of soapy water. It works really really well for privacy and blocking heat. Cons: it’s pretty ‘blurry’ from the inside; but sorta expected as a vinyl film. It’s good enough

I live in Arizona and come summer we hibernate waiting for the 120° to pass. Also, AZ electric company increases rates constanty (last month 4.3%) so in order to attempt to keep home cool AND manage to pay for HVAC ; I've started to really become dependent on these static tints. I luv that theyre not perm. Because Fall-Winter-Spring is perrfect & windows are open to enjoy the divine weather. I cant say how much light this blocks because I installed on 3 windows at night. As the sunrises & afternoon inferno rolls in I will update this review. I've used Pure Black on Black opaque tint (its on my slider) and it works fantabulous. I found these rolls incredibly easy to install. Easier to install than the mosaic rolls I use in my office. Plus, these haven't fallen off of the window. The black on black and mosaic constantly need re hung. I think maybe the AZ sun dries it out & cooks it off? Not sure but the copper mirror rolls have not fallen from the windows (yet)This roll the copper mirror esq has a much lovelier vibe! Does it work? I will keep you posted manaña.

The concept was good but the outcome was not so good on the mirror side
Doesnt look clear like a mirror. Putting it up wasnt easy on a larger window even after watching videos. I did everything right and it looks like crap. I cant get all the dimples out. It just doesnt look as good as I had hoped. The inside of the house is shady. But people can still see thru and the mirror looks like a carnival type. I wish I hadnt waisted 50 bucks on this. It will come down because im hating the way it looks. I bought silver black
