Mollers is a well established Norwegian brand that has been around for a long time. These cod liver oil capsules are made from wild caught Norwegian cod so are a little more expensive compared to some other brands, but you have the assurance of a quality product, given the reputation of the company.The capsules themselves are easy to swallow and have very little taste or odour. One of the things I especially like about this brand is that there is no aftertaste. The pack has a decent shelf life, mine is just a tad short of 18 months.The only thing I wasn't keen on is the number of capsules you are supposed to take. Each one contains only 600mg of cod liver oil, so you need to take at least two, and up to four, daily. If you were taking 4, then this pack of 160 capsules will not even last 6 weeks, making them quite pricey. I know there is always a balance between cost and quality, but the thought of taking 4 capsules a day does not appeal no matter how good they are.

Firstly, these capsules provide 294mg of Omega-3 and 1200mg of Cod Liver Oil in every 2 capsules. The dose recommendation here is between 2 and 4 a day. For me, I take 2. 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening. I take these and similar for those two ingredientsThese come in a green bottle/tub with a white lid which is shaped nicely so you can just pull it off easily. It's just as easy to put back on. The tub was filled almost to the top too, so no wasted packaging here.One thing I have noticed with these vs. other cod liver oil I've taken over the last 15 years is that these are slightly more narrow capsules and feel firmer, but can still be squeezed a little. This does make them a little harder to swallow if you're not the best at chugging pills down with water. The capsules don't smell at all, but based on previous experience as a child I will not be cutting/biting one open anytime soon for a taste test. The whole capsule has no taste when swallowed with water.These do contain gelatin from cattle, (along with cod liver oil of course) so are not vegetarian or vegan friendly obviously, but this also means these aren't a pescatarian supplement either.The date on these was well over a year away in November 2026, and I've written this in July 2025.I am really pleased with the amount (180, so will last me 90 days) in comparison to the price and the quality of the capsules, with no leaking or damaged capsules. I would happily consider these again in the future for a purchase.
