Easy to grow
These are easy to grow and produce a mass amount of very beautiful flowers without a lot of effort. I planted a rather large bed with these and it was overflowing. I used minimal effort with planting, just sprinkled on some loose soil and lightly covered with some dirt.

Another tall plant...
I have never planted Foxglove, before and was surprised to see that they will grow to be three to five feet tall when I was expecting something in maybe the 12 to 15 inch range. Since they can take 100 to 120 days to flower, times you usually see for pepper plants, these will need to be given an indoor start relatively soon.

Colorful attractions for hummingbirds/pollinators, must start indoors then transplant
This is a 1/2 ounce (~125,000 seeds) pack of Foxglove/digitalis seeds. These tall trumpet-like flower stalks grow up to 36-60" tall. These seeds are harvested and packaged in California. They come in an opaque and resealable package. Instructions are printed on the pack.A "plant by" date of 6/2026 is indicated. These just arrived (12/2024) so these are likely harvested in fall 2024. There is no test data, and the germination rate is not stated; but that is more typical for vegetable seeds anyway. This pack will provide seeds for 2025, and also 2026 with perhaps a lower germination rate. I can't visualize 125,000 seeds in the packet so we are not opening it until we are ready to go.We have not planted foxglove before, so this is a new adventure for us. We are hoping to attract hummingbirds as well as pollinators. The packet recommends starting the seeds indoors then transplanting. We plan to use starter trays in a small mini-greenhouse. We also plan to share seeds with a friend. For us, we will be planting these around the edge of the vegetable garden, which has a 72" wire fence which makes it convenient to tie the plants to for support if needed.Like any seeds, keep them in a cool/cold dry area until spring. We store them in a metal cookie tin so any mice cannot get to them.

Foxglove Mixed-colors seeds
I purchased the Foxglove Mixed Colors seeds (1/2 ounce packet, containing 125,000 seeds) to add a touch of elegance and charm to my garden, and I am thrilled with the results! These seeds are perfect for creating a stunning display of vibrant, bell-shaped flowers in a mix of colors that look absolutely breathtaking. The packet contains an impressive 125,000 seeds, which is more than enough to cover a large area or multiple garden beds. I planted them in a sunny spot with well-draining soil, following the simple planting instructions, and within weeks, I started seeing sprouts. The germination rate has been fantastic, with a lush carpet of green shoots appearing shortly after planting. One of the things I love most about these seeds is the variety of colors. The blooms range from soft pastels to bold, striking shades, creating a beautiful and natural mix that looks like something out of a storybook. The tall, stately stalks of the foxglove flowers add height and dimension to my garden, making them perfect for borders, backdrops, or even as a centerpiece. These flowers are not only visually stunning but also attract pollinators like bees and butterflies, which is a wonderful bonus for maintaining a healthy and thriving garden ecosystem. I also appreciate that foxgloves are biennials, meaning they bloom in their second year, providing a sense of anticipation and continuity to my garden planning.

Foxglove seeds, mixed colors
To be honest, this review so far is before planting. I will try to remember to update after growing season, I just got the seeds and it's not quite time to plant yet. The reason for the 5 star is all about the packaging so far. I don't think critters will smell the seeds through it so they should be safe from critters. The package is resealable so that will save seeds from falling out. It has a nice clear picture of the colors of the flowers you get plus it tells you them- purple, pink, white and cream. I appreciate the expiration date being nice and clear as well, mine says 6/2026 and right now it is now New years 1/2025. They also offer more in-depth growing guides on their website that is listed. So far what I've seen there is that they offer a guarantee, and flowers are GMO free and veggies are organic, at least the ones I looked at so far.
