Godox S85T 33.5" Umbrella Softbox Grid

I recently purchased the Godox Softbox, and I’m so impressed with its quality and performance! The build feels sturdy yet lightweight, making it easy to carry for shoots. It diffuses light beautifully, creating soft, even illumination that’s perfect for portraits and product photography. Setup was quick and hassle-free, and it’s a great value for the price. Highly recommend it to photographers looking to elevate their lighting game!

Very easy to assemble in seconds! So much nicer than the old style which has you adding nylon rods one by one. This is avery bit as good as the top brand names I've owned in the past. Nice and sturdy.

I bought this for portrait photography. It is excellent quality and easy to assemble. I also found the plate and the grid so it can be a Beaty dish. I am so excited by this product.

This is very easy to set up and carry around with me and gives me just enough light when I'm shooting indoors or close to my subject. One size up gives me light everywhere when I don't necessarily want it, and this allows me to control where it goes more easily.

Softbox is easy to setup However i can tell just on first setup the build quality is OK at best, subpar compared to other modifiers i have from GLOW and Aperture where they seem a bit more rigid and less flimsy. The Claimed 33.5" diameter of the modifier is not entirely accurate. I measured it at 32.98" which is probably why the grid i bought for it as a (frequently bought together) item is an inch and a half too big. i have left over material that i have to fold over when applying it to the inner velcro of this modifier. As far as light output it does have 2 layer diffusion so you can adjust how harsh or how soft you want your light spread. My only 3 big gripes about this product are 1 - The bag it comes in to store or travel in, is cheap thin nylon and it immediately ripped at the drawstring seam when i unboxed it trying to remove the modifier making it basically useless, so i threw it away. 2- the fact this modifier doesn't include the grid at the price point you're paying? and you have to buy it separately.... thats stupid. Last but not least, 3- the inner locking stem is threaded for a light deflector dish to allow light to spread more evenly throughout this modifier and that also is not included. For what you get with just the modifier as far as build goes, i would struggle to pay more than $40 for this if it was my only option. i'll keep it as a back up for a "what if" scenerio, but your money is better spent on a modifier like a GLOW EZlok. same price tag range but you get everything all included 2 diffision panels, grid and inner deflector, and it just is better made.
