works well solid
The Transmitter and Receiver work very well however, I did have to correct my review as this model 'does not' have Bluetooth and that's a good thing. it's one less thing to worry about some random board person trying to connect to Blutooth and goofing around. I am happy with my purchase.

M2 Great for Condenser Mics and Amazing Value for the Money, M1 is Noisy
Bought the M1 first since the specs indicated it had lower noise. Found it had significant hiss when used with its 48V phantom power and a condenser mic. Returned the M1 and ordered the M2 - what a difference! The M2 is virtually noiseless with condenser mic operating on the M2's 48V phantom power. These Strich units seem to be one of the few SMALL wireless Mic extenders that operate at around 500Mhz and have 48V phantom power. I had been using the Xvive U3C which is similar but a bit smaller and operates at 2.4Ghz. The U3C had worked perfectly until I added 2.4Ghz Wifi remote control to the camcorder. The remote control Wifi adapter was so close to the U3C receiver operating on the same band that it caused audio dropouts. The M2 at the far removed 500Mhz band does not have that problem and completely solved the issue.I have been using the M2 with a Shure PGA31-TQG Headset Microphone (with a suitable TA4F to XLR) adapter and a JVC GY-HM250U camcorder. The great thing about this wireless unit is the small size - the receiver fits into the camcorder's handle XLR connector and really becomes part of the camera that you just forget is there. A great way to do away with XLR cables.I thrilled with how well the unit works - and for less than $100 you cant beat it. A great way to get rid of XLR cables at not much more than the cost of a cable!Notes: I have not tried it at distances beyond 25 feet so I cant comment on range. I also use it only for short durations - and hour or two at most - so cant comment on battery life.
