I see a lot of much cheaper generic/off-brand items, but I just don't trust them to not wear out the batteries faster. Plus, I've NEVER had a dewalt charger quit working.

Purchased to charge DeWalt Batteries
I purchased 2 12-AH batteries for my BlackTip DPV and needed a charger. After reading reviews, I opted to stick with the DeWalt brand to charge my DeWalt batteries. The charger works as advertised. My only complaint is with the DeWalt connector, it can sometimes be a pain to get the batteries aligned to connect properly and it can take me a few attempts to get the rails to engage properly. Other than that, no complaints.
