I don't know about durability outside as I just sprayed some brass door hardware but for usability, it is much easier to use than Mohawk Brass Laquer which had been my go-to until this. It seems to go on thinner, dry quicker, smoother, and less prone to drips.

I have quite a bit of brass on my old steam car, and I cleaned/polished it really well and applied this clear coat. Since then, there has been no corrosion of any kind on the brass...usually fingerprints, etc, cause it to tarnish in a matter of hours.So far-so good!

Found this product and it was described as offering somewhat long term protection of copper sinks. I was tired of cleaning ours all the time to be shiny. I followed the instructions to a T. Cleaned the copper, used baking soda to neutralize, used denatured alcohol solvent. Did four coats. Left on vacation so it was totally undisturbed for five days (left a fan on and window open to help ventilate). Came home and avoided using it for a full two weeks; if used it at all, dried immediately with a soft towel. Then started using it regularly (though still somewhat gently). Found a couple small flakes coming off but it seemed like a minor thing so I actually bought another can intending to touch up (which I now can’t return!) Of course now, all of a sudden, huge thick pieces are peeling off all over the sink. It’s ruined. Only about one month after applying it. I contacted their support and after verifying that I followed the instructions, they just stopped responding. Don’t trust this product for high use materials, like kitchen sinks, I guess.
