This WAS faster than my other card readers with the T-SMART micro SD card....
Unfortunately, the card had problems the VERY first time I used it in my Shanling Audio M5s DAP (digital audio player) AFTER I had already transferred over 900gb+ of music over to it. Learned my lesson yet again from buying ANY type of flash media from Amazon 🤣😢Bought a 1tb SanDisk Extreme Micro SD Card for $7 more than the TeamGroup T-Create Expert micro SD card + reader combo and will never look back. All of my previous cards entrusted with HQ music files AND in my high-end audio recorders (Sound Devices MixPre-6 and MixPre-3) are all SanDisk Ultra cards, except my main MixPre-6 recorder, which is running a SanDisk Extreme Pro SD card. Funnily Enough, I went to replace that SD card with an "upgrade" from 128gb to a 256gb SanDisk Extreme that's approved by Sound Devices, also bought from Amazon, and I got read errors for the first time EVER since using flash medi to record high resolution audio at shows/concerts, which was 2006 when I bought a Sound Devices 722 recorder with an internal HDD AND a compact flash slot. So needless to say, I started using the SanDisk Extreme Pro again immediately and (knocks on wood) i haven't ever had troubles before or since that time in a cold January night back in 2022. Fortunately, I'm able to patch my recording with another HQ source running 4-6 channels too, but I will NEVER, I repeat, NEVER BUY FLASH MEDIA FROM AMAZON AGAIN!In all likelihood, the card seemed genuine and let me put over 900gb of data on it, and passed every software test I had for fake cards. I just think I either A. Got a bad card, it happens occasionally or B. The company makes unreliable products or C. It was a very good fake someone implanted into it. I can't say for sure because I returned it and got a refund.Anyway, about the card reader itself, it was pretty nice and I contemplated keeping it. However it was only FAST with the T-CREATE Expert card and not any of my SanDisk Ultra. But since getting the 1tb SanDisk Extreme Micro SD card to replace it, along with the proper SanDisk USB A micro SD card ONLY, I'm pulling MUCH faster speeds (around 120MBs) than the T-CREATE Expert ever did with this card reader. So IMO, if you're desperate for one, get this. But I would personally look elsewhere for an ALL metal card reader like the UGreen or SmartQ micro SD card ONLY readers, or if you want more versatility, check out the Anker USB C + A card reader that reads SD + Micro SD cards.Sorry for the fluff of the post concerning the T-CREATE Expert SMART micro SD card, but I bought them as a combo, so I thought it was worth mentioning. When you're in the market for SD/Micro SD cards, check out B+H. They have free 2-Day Expedited shipping on orders over $49 or something like that, and you are guaranteed to get a GENUINE card. Plus, they actually care about their customers 😉🫠

A+ Highly Recommend
Really convenient to have. I use it mostly to connect to and save things from my cell phone and other handheld devices. Very good transfer speed. A+ would definitely recommend 👍🏻

Gets very hot very fast.
I paired this with a Sabrent card which has been an excellent card in every other scenario. This adapter itself gets alarmingly warm very quickly, though. Like, uncomfortable to have your finger on more than a few seconds. To its credit, during a 25 minute transfer, it didn't seem bothered in terms of transfer rate, but I have concerns about its longevity if it's routinely running this hot. In retrospect, getting one with a larger body designed with heat dissipation in mind might be the smarter choice if the tiny form factor isn't crucial. In my looking around, this appears to be a rebadged Samsung (or vice versa), which would just continue my run of getting disappointing products from Samsung. In other words, I don't think I'd buy this again. I don't expect it to last very long, but for now, it does its job.

Gets close to advertises speeds on different brand cards
Best reader to achieve full A2 read speeds of 150 to 180 MB/s no matter the card brand. Other readers from Samsung and Kingston only read full speed with their own cards.
