I love this thing! I've been searching for a mandolin for a while but was scared because I didn't want to lose fingers. This slicer is the answer. You can choose a variety of thickness or thinness depending on your preference. It makes short work of any vegetable, including potatoes. Definitely get this, you will not be disappointed. Bonus it's dishwasher safe, first easily in a drawer and has stayed sharp!

Just replaced an older slicer that was unsafe and you really had to watch yourself when sliding the vegetable towards the blade. To change the blade height you had change the slide to a thicker or thinner one. This new one you turn a knob to change the thickness of the slices and your hand is not near the blade as you cut the items. Much safer. Easy to use and clean.

I really enjoy this mandoline in my kitchen - it is very effective and truly safe! You'd really need to work to get cut with this device. I enjoy the consistency in the size of my slices combined with the variable thickness setting - makes for consistently cooked veggies a pretty simple task. Mine was priced very affordably resulting in a great value addition.It could be a little easier to clean and/or fit into the dishwasher a bit easier, but I'll put up with that for all the safety and convenience it brings.

Love this kitchen tool!! It's a little bit of a hassle to clean, but it comes with a little brush to help with that. It definitely makes chopping easier and faster, and it's perfect for all these cucumber salads and a shaved apple salad I've been making recently. It stores well, and the dial has a good range of adjustability for the thickness you want.

Love this! I used to buy sweet potato chips for my small dog but they were always too big and too tough to break apart, so I bought a food dehydrator and got this product to slice the sweet potatoes. I am very pleased with how well this works. It makes the job of slicing so simple and fast! I used the 3mm setting for the sweet potato chips and they came out great! Next I am going to make my own potato chips. It has a lot of size settings so you can slice from very thin to thick.

Works great. Glad I purchased. I did have to cut an onion in half to fit in the container but it cuts fabulously and at the thickness you set. Highly recommend.

I love this ! This is so easy to use. I just sliced up potatoes and onions work like a charm.

I did not expect this to work as well as it does - It even cuts through sweet potatoes. I like that you can change the thickness of the cut and how easy it is to wash. It folds up nicely as well.
