Easy to apply, looks great.
Easier to apply than I expected, ironed on the edge of plywood for our bar tops then stained with rustins stain and varnish. Look like part of the wood, very impressed.

A little disappointed
I have bought veneers before and the longer lengths often have joins but they have never presented a problem. On this particular delivery, which I didn't check because all others had been fine, didn't have a join it was two lengths of veneer taped with masking tape and the grain didn't match. Fortunately I was using this on the side of a handrail so not a disaster but frustrating. Everything else about it is great, such a shame.

Edging a wooden floor.
Got me out of a sticky situation whilst relaying a solid wood floor to conceal small gaps around the edges. Easy to cut but a bit tricky to iron onto the floor as it's designed for edging.

Gives a nice wooden finish that is easy to stain and varnish as required.
I wanted to add some lighting to the shelves my wife uses for her crystal collection. I used this material to finish the right angled aluminium strip, in which I mounted the LED’s. As it was aluminium I was sticking the veneer to, it wouldn’t iron on. Not a fault with the veneer and I’m sure ironing onto chip board or MDF will be fine. I used contact adhesive. I then stained the finish to match as close as I could to the shelving units. I was pleased with the results as you can see in the attached photos.
