These are the best holdups I have ever had I would recommend them to anyone.I have tried a few different brands and these win over all .

These hold ups are so nice to wear, they stay up well and are strong and so last well. A bit expensive, I have found them cheaper at Boots chemist but it is convenient on Amazon Prime.

I always have to examine the thigh band before I buy, but this hold-up never let me down yet.Aristoc is a brand I discovered when I was working as a consultant for good old British manufacturer Courtaulds, in the 90s!They had a staff shop, and I used to buy Aristoc hold-ups there...exactly the same as these! That was my first introduction. They are super sexy, very sheer, with good stay-up bands and they wear well. I did of course regularly snag them but, aside from the ones that grannies wear, which hold-ups don't snag?Note: If you see two identical or near-identical reviews by different reviewers, always check who posted theirs the earlier date--and please 'report' the second one--as sadly some of my detailed reviews, and those of many other hard-working reviewers, are being copied by others. The earlier date will give you the owner of the review originally. It takes a long time to evaluate an item and write a detailed report so it's not a great development...

For the money and the reputation I expected these to be better. On first wear they look and feel great but it didn’t take long to ladder them. One wear then in the bin.
