I’m a big ice cream lover and I was so excited to give True Scoops a try. It did not disappoint! The flavors are great, the texture is creamy, and it was really easy to make. I also like the packaging and that you can put the ice cream right in the pint. I have a 9 year old and True Scoops is so much fun to make with kids. She loves it too! I highly recommend True Scoops, you will love it!

I knew the total cost was much higher than a good quality store-bought ice cream, but I bought it anyway because I thought it would be fun to make ice cream at home. It's not worth it. Overall, the flavors were so-so, the texture was both icy and powdery (not sure how that happened, but that's what my ice cream tasted like). The making process is also not easy or fun with the powder flying all over, and don't forget, you do need to run to the store to buy half & half anyway.Very disappointed.

I followed directions and blended it in my nutribullet. Not sure if that's my mistake but it was really hard to get the ice cream out of the tub. It was more of an icy than ice cream. Also, the tub is so thin. I made multiple holes trying to dig the ice cream out with a hot spoon!

True Scoops 3-Pack Variety Ice Cream Mix makes it a breeze to make ice cream with just 1 cup of half and half, an electric mixer, 5 minutes of mixing time and 4-6 hours of freezing time. The trio includes Chocolate, Vanilla Bean, and Strawberry flavors. The dry mix looks similar to an instant cake mix with rich and inviting aromas. The ice cream was easy to make and the contents fit perfectly into the pint container that served as the holder of the mix and the finished product to place in the freezer. Once the mix and half and half are blended, the mixture is somewhat thicker than what it originally started as. The finished frozen ice cream is creamy and tasty while reminding me of a grocery store brand ice cream. It's not as rich as nationwide chain ice creams but it can satisfy an ice cream craving. Of the three flavors, I enjoyed the Chocolate flavor the most. The shared ingredients amongst all three flavors of ice cream include sugar, organic tapioca syrup solids, dehydrated sweet cream, nonfat dry milk, potato protein, salt, organic guar gum, and organic gum acacia. The only differences are cocoa powder in the Chocolate, natural vanilla flavor and ground vanilla in the Vanilla Bean, and freeze dried strawberries, natural strawberry flavor, and citric acid in the Strawberry. There are 3 servings per each container with each 1/3 cup serving including 200 Calories (Chocolate)/ 210 Calories (Strawberry)/ 220 Calories (Vanilla Bean), 7g Total Fat (Chocolate and Strawberry) / 8g Total Fat (Vanilla Bean)/, 31g Total Carbohydrate, and 5g Total Protein (Vanilla Bean and Strawberry) / 6g Total Protein (Chocolate). The product that I received has a best by date of 8 months from the date that I received it. It is a Gluten-Free, Peanut Free, and Kosher product. It is a fun activity to do to bond with your kids or friends. Ultimately, it is a fun way to always have access to a homemade ice cream made in the comfort of your own home.

Absolutely loved this ice cream product! The kids truly loved the ability to add in their favorite sweet treats and even come up with a funny name to write on the lid. As a parent, I loved the ease of making a great ice cream with no ice cream maker needed. It was a win-win, for the kids and I! Love the product and will be ordering again… even a great gift with the holidays coming up!!!

A bit on the salt side with weak distinct flavor of chocolate, vanilla or strawberry. Followed the directions to mix and the texture was gritty. In theory it’s a fun alternative for shipping actual ice cream which is extremely expensive but it’s not good.

We love True Scoops’ new formulation, it’s so easy to use and such a fun activity to do with the kids. My kiddos love making the ice cream and being a part of the process. And it tastes so darn good! The ice cream (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry) and the sauces (chocolate and caramel) are delish! Mmmm! Would definitely buy again! And highly recommend for families with kiddos.
