I have used this Batana brand for a while. I stopped using it for another brand, but it was not working! I came right back to what was working for me. Great product and yes, it smells like coffee.

Re-purchased again! It's the 100% Original RAW Batana Oil. Been using this stuff since 2012! Yes it grows hair.i recommend applying to the scalp rub throw and massage and use with a good hard stimulating hair brush like the @Scalpmater Hair Brush also sold here on Amazon!FYI: This authentic product is not sold everywhere!!! Strong aroma smells nutty because it's grown from trees and it is a nut! Highly recommended for women of color!!!

This oil makes my hair grow so quickly I was in shock, it also gives your hair texture and seals in moisture for weeks. My only problem with it is the burnt smell but other than that it’s 10 out of 10.. and without that smell, it wouldn’t be authentic so it’s a love hate situation. It’s easier to apply just like any other oil and it last for a long time. I use it on my hair and I use it on my kids hair.

My son referred this product to me when I told him about my thinning hair. I ordered it and saw immediate results from the first usage. It's been 13 days of daily usage, and my hair is moister with more volume. The thinning areas are beginning to show signs of growth, although slow at this time. I'm confident growth will increase with use. It has even erased the majority of the dry scaling around the hairline of my forehead. The color, smell, and ease of application is as described by the manufacturer. A good effective product.

One thing you should know about this product is that it has a strong smoke smell. As a formal smoker I don’t like the smell at all. I only put this on at night (not every night either). In the morning I take a shower to wash off the residue. On a positive note it has made my hair softer and hydrated. If not for the smell I would order it again. This is a no go for me and my spouse.
