When I received this dash cam, I had to pay an individual on the side, works at a shop, to install it. The evidently never read the directions. He put the camera that was not waterproof on the outside of the car, which caused blurry visuals while looking at them back camera. I didn’t know it was on an indoor camera so I wrote the Red tiger company.Absolute best company I have ever done business with especially through Amazon.Not only did they explain the problem I was incurring because the person I overpaid to install the dash cam and the rear cam did not read the directions into payment, but they then actually stayed in communication with me on a regular basis, Emma, from there, customer service team, was professional in our emails, polite, and descriptive on what to do, and she also asked my preference if I wanted him in Door back camera or an outdoor one/mini waterproof, I told her I had tinted windows and wasn’t quite sure if the indoor one would work. What did Emma do? She sent me an additional question in indoor and an outdoor camera Red tiger dash cam. I was able to do the reinstallation myself, and Emma was the biggest child I’ve had.Amazon has been slacking over the past few years. Therefore, I decided to email the company directly, and less amazed at the rapid response and help I have gotten. I highly highly recommend Red tiger, best customer service I’ve seen in years, incredibly educated on their product, and it was worth a penny if not more.Haven’t been more pleased with Amazon in at least five years thanks to Red Tiger and EmmaVery grateful, and the cameras work beautifully, and record regularly

So far, so good. The only thing so far is am not excited about is there is no image stabilization so the videos are shaky even on the highway. Also, it does not display any GPS information on the live screen. Other than that it is a solid unit and does exactly what I bought it to do.

I had an older dashcam that worked fine for a few years. I decided to "upgrade" since this one has touchscreen and an app on your phone. 1st frustration was during the installation because I thought I would use the same route as I had for my old dashcam to bring the cable to the middle console where the cigarette lighter is. After doing all the work of hiding the cable, I realized it was about 4 inch too short! Cable is shorter than on my old dashcam. Had to redo everything by finding a different route to bring the cable while being able to hide it. A few nights ago, while I was driving, I noticed that only the back camera was working for some reason. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and both front and back were working again, don't know what was the issue with that. Last night, the screen just went black for some reason. I have it set where the screen stays on all the time and it was the 1st time that the screen just went black while the little blue and red lights were still on like it was still on and recording, just no screen. Unplugged it, plugged it back in and it works again. Not sure what the issue is but I only had it for about a month and so far this few issues with it.

A bit confusing at first. During normal use, you do not need it connected to WiFi until you want to download a video or pic. That said, DO connect it during set up so you're familiar with the process. Once the device is installed, take a drive and then pull over in a safe place and practice downloading a clip so you're not lost in the process if and when you need to do it.Voice command will pick up radio voices and randomly take a pic or change the view. I believe you can adjust sensitivity.Touchscreen works well, but icons can be hard to see.

I have a 2018 Nissan rogue SL. This was incredibly easy to install. I will say that the suction isn’t the greatest and I had to use the additional stickers to get it to stick to my glass. It does not require direct electrical hook up unless you want the parking monitor function. It was very easy to hide the wires in the trim and there was more than enough feet of wiring for the front and the back installation. With the Nissan rogue, you can’t really tuck it under the dash as seen in the installation pamphlet, so I went with another recommended layout which is down the passenger side door trim and underneath the passenger side mat. For the back, the wiring was actually too long so I had to double up and hide the extra wiring along the top of the hatchback door, but it still looks very clean. The camera itself has very good resolution and is very easy to use and format the SD card. The app was easy to install and sync with the camera as well. I 100% recommend this camera.
