Great printer scanner, love the giant bottles of ink feature! All works as advertised, although need to get some glossy paper to see it at it's best.

Bought this tank printer to replace our HP ink jet printer. Reasonable printer, although photo quality could be improved upon. Also, we're not on cable Internet, yet, (slowing coming to homes in the Wilderness) so using our mobile phones. Problem is that the printer will only attach to one phone at a time, meaning to change phones one has to reset the printer ... each time. Huge faff.

Best home printer I’ve had. I love Canon anyway, wouldn’t touch Epson as they must have an inbuilt counter that once reached the printer stops and is unfixable. Canon, on the other hand are fantastic, esp this one!!! It comes with a huge amount of ink, so it totally removes the miserly approach to printing. It’s a straightforward uncomplicated build. A bit like what cars were like before being ruined with tec that always goes wrong! This printer is super. It does edge to edge, photo printing, it prints very narrow strips well and scans. Totally recommend!

Purchased this thinking it would be easy to connect with my smartphone for direct printing, but alas no. 2 days in and still cannot print from phone. Printer is showing connected to my home network and my wireless router shows the printer is connected and online. Phone is also on same network. Phone Canon Print app can see the printer but just states its unavailable right now all the time. Computer connected ok using USB. Had a HP prior to this and had same issues with that printer. When will this industry ever solve the minefield of wireless printing from all devices. Resigned to just emailing any document to myself and saving and printing from computer instead. Totally disillusioned with it.

This is my 4 th Canon printer and I use them most days, I have had this printer for a few weeks and have given it a good trial, the print quality is excellent and is better than the much more expensive canon printer I replaced it with, its easy to set up and I was up and running in 20 mins from un-boxing. So why the 3 stars, this is the noisiest printer I have ever owned and it blows my mind that canon are still making printers that are this loud and clunky and the only other issue for me is it is so slow from pressing print to it being printed, I run 2 other canon printers along side this and don't have this issue so I think it is a an issue with this printer. I would recommend it for the print quality if you can over look the other 2 problems.

I bought this printer for my wife, who is a crafter and uses 200 and 250gsm cardstock.It took a lot of searching because not a lot of printers can feed cardstock of that thickness without causing problems. This printer does it with ease and has the added benefit of refillable tanks which work out cheaper than cartridges.I had read there can be problems connecting to a wifi or network with Canon printers, if you use the Canon print app it is easy.

First thing First , Got to thank KC GRANDPA TECH for showing this printer and ware you can get a hold of one , you can see him on youtube.I Got mine today from AMAZON i Also got the Maintenance Cartridge From AMAZON set up is very ezy and works well with chromebook Acer 314. , as soon as you hook up the printer to the wifi chromebook finds it .with out any problems it is the same with any android smart phone.. print quality exelint . here is one of my furry buddy . and some proof i am using a chromebook . without any problems.
