Good quality, good finish.
For cheap back plates, these are as good as any ordinary store mil spec back plates. They're pretty much a glossy black, as they appear in the images. Not heavy duty, but also not thin or cheap metal. They're just regular decent quality, with a quality coat of paint. They fit well and didn't have any chips or defects. An can be painted any color, as I painted one of them with an FDE color. Worth the price, as some of the cheaper options have bad reviews. An seem to bee thin or have rough cuts etc. I'm sure there are stores that buy these by the hundred, an slap on some packaging. An sell them for 10$ each or 15 - 20$s for the 2.

Very solid, superior to most in fit and finish
If you want a nice fit and finish dual sling mount that's going to bend/flex, seek no further. These are the most heavy duty I've ever seen. Very robust, I highly recommend them even at twice the price.

They work with other brands of QD sockets like MagPul and other manufacturers
These are great for hook-end type slings because the bent attachment bars center the sling and keep it secure and in one spot instead of sliding all around like they would on flat style bars. Also, these QD posts will work in QD sockets made by other manufacturers like MagPul, so these will interchange easily with firearms with MagPul sockets already installed. Can't really speak for
