Great for the cheap price, just paint over it before installing
Im not a reviewer normally but ive noticed people mad that the paint chips after a few weeks. yes it does and thats to be expected with the heat of a diesel exhaust. BUT...... this tip is 40 bucks shipped to your door and is really stainless steel , albeit low grade, under the black coating (i tested it, to my best ability, with rockwell hardness files and its between 410 and 416 S.S.). The next cheapest one in this size and specs is around 75 bucks and the more expensive ones are clocking 100 bucks plus. A can of black high temp engine paint is what?......5 dollars is the answer. My tip started flaking paint within 1 week so i took the ONE bolt loose, took the tip off and painted it, and it looks great and wont chip for a long time now. Sooo......save 40-50 dollars, buy this one and a can of engine paint, then scuff and paint over the original paint before you install it and it works great. On a side note, it fits perfect under the 2018 ram 2500 with 7/8 inches of clearance between the top of the tip to the bedside. Looks awesome and is nice and snug if you cut off about 10 inches of the stock tailpipe, just dont cut into the last bend.

Weld it on! Lol
If you want to put it on permanently do what I did and take a sawzall to cut off the tightening bolt latch thing then shove it on and weld that sucker. Looks incredible! Sounds awesome.

Great
Exactly what it says. Fit perfectly, sounds amazing. Had no tip before and it definitely makes a difference in sound. Opted for a scratched/open product because it was cheaper and im happy i did. Nothing was wrong with it at all.

Maybe a one off but weak weld caused a failure
Unfortunately after maybe 40 miles or so, the nut that is welded onto the tip to securely clamp it broke off. I was lucky enough to notice this in my driveway rather then seeing it fly off into another car on the freeway. Install was pretty easy and required no excessive torque on the bolt or anything which made me surprised when I found it broken off.UPDATE: I reached out to the company and they were very responsive and replaced the tip with a new one very fast. Bumping my review up based on that interaction alone.

Great quality product
Put this on my Ram 3500 and it looks and sounds great. Had a 5” then swapped to this. Got rid of droning and sounds much better.

Amazing buy for the money!!!!
I put this on my 2017 ram 2500 and it looks amazing. I was worried about it looking too big when I first took it out of the box, but with it installed, it looked like something that should have been mandatory from the factory. Fitment is perfect!!!!!! Don’t pay 150 plus for a name brand when all you are paying for is the name. This does the job and does so without looking cheap.

Good price, solid product, would buy again.
It’s good for the money, first time I purchased it, I got the wrong size, but was able to send it back no issues whatsoever, ended up having the other one sent back and new one at my door step in less than a week, gave my old 12v cummins a nice grown and it’s a bit raspy, but really like it none the less, was easy to install, just make sure after a mile or so of driving, you stop and check it, and retighten the clamp, as mine started to work itself loose, or you could tack weld in a few spots, but after I tightened it some more after some heat cycles, it’s been solid since with no issues, paint seems to be holding up, am definitely satisfied with the purchase, and would buy again.
