Brilliant: Highly Recommended.
Amazing piece of kit. Love the compact nature and ease of use. Highly recommended for those who love to cook outdoors camping or on picnic / day out. Also for use in an emergency when all power goes down, so does our gas... This will get a lot of use. I'll update when we've been on a trip and tried it out a few times...

Unbelieveable little cooker
Bought this cookset about two weeks ago now and gave it a go last weekend. Thought I would give it a quick review.Good points:A incredibly solidly built bit of kit.Very good heat distribution in pans.Good size pots, pans & kettle.Packs away small.Light (1kg total).Uses un-pressurized fuel.Cooking ability in wind.Bad Points:Fuel consumption a little higher than expected. This cooker is unbelieveably simple and elegant in its design. Quick to set-up and pack away. The burner is cool enough to touch 5 mins after putting it out. Boils 0.9 ltr of water in about 12 mins using about 20-30ml of fuel using the kettle.Trangia say 500ml of meths is enough for 1 week cooking for 1 person (very approx). I used 350ml in one day & night for one person! I did a bacon butty for lunch, super noodle snack, risotto for dinner and another bacon butty for breakfast. Saying this though I did also boil about 7 ltrs of water as well for copius cups of tea/washing up. Used the simmer ring on the risotto, works well, no sticking of ther rice!In my opinion, this thing is the DON of outdoor cooking, I love this cooker, it will be coming with me on every trip from now on, be it 1 day or 1 month!

Fantastic set!
This transit stove is fantastic. I bought it for my husband who loves to go moto camping and it was perfect and fit into his motorcycle panniers without any issues. It now gets used every time he is away and he loves it.

Trangia does what Trangia does best
This is a fantastic cook set. Maybe a little bulky, but it's lightweight and gives you so many cooking options when out in the wilds. Top tip: Season the pan to make it non-stick. Wipe it with vegetable oil/peanut oil and leave it on the heat until it smokes. Not even bacon sticks to it now.

Timeless classic
Had the smaller version 40 years ago. Nothing much has changed, more labelling? The word then was: it isn't the lightest or fastest, but probably the most reliable and one of the safest camping stoves. Another reason I like it is the fuel is easy to see how much you have, and going forward there are zero carbon bio fuels available.
