Extremely happy and works with PCI-Passthrough on ESXi 6.5
I've been using this for a couple of months now and I'm extremely happy. I have this configured on an Ubuntu Virtual Machine hosted on VMware ESXi 6.5 using PCI Passthrough. This works without issues between switching VM's, reboots, etc. (its not capable of SR-IOV) and it hasn't coursed any heat issues. I only use free-to-air so cannot comment on cams, however I did turn this to the UHD Astra test channel and I'm happy to say that works without issues. The drivers need compiling, so when you do an upgrade you may need to recompile the drivers, its a pain but normal for these situations.

Abandon hope all ye that enter here.
The hardware seems OK, all software had to be found on line and was complicated and inadequate. Defeated by the linux installation and the Windows operating system. Should have read the reviews. Write off the cost and buy a competitor's

very good card but not plex compatible ..
the card is flawless under windows i’ve tried it with dvbviewer and it worked and scanned the channel no problem on a uk dish astra 28.2E. unfortunately i was hoping once up and running plex would work with it but unfortunately it does not.. despite plex sees the hardware as <hardware we recognise > and not as u supported i was hoping for the best , but i was unable to get any channel on plex despite trying all the driver new and old available and deleting dvbviewer too .

Excellent dual tuner card
Excellent product. Used as a component on a TVheadend server. Does a wonderful job. Linux drivers need to be compiled, so not for the novice. Follow instructions on TBS website, doing the documented prerquisites first and you'll be fine.

Incompatible with window 11
The drivers fail the security check on windows 11 so it wont install. On windows 10 it regularly locks up my system, with a driver error.Simply put, for such a mature product, the drivers are shocking. avoid.

I use DVBlink for the sat tuning and this card has worked fine for scheduled recordings so far (about a week in
I got this to replace another TBS card which failed after a few years of use in my windows 7 media center PC. I use DVBlink for the sat tuning and this card has worked fine for scheduled recordings so far (about a week in...). I tried the DVBSKY S952 first, but that sporadically missed scheduled recordings, even with the latest drivers.

GOOD CARD SHAME ABOUT THE DRIVERS TBS Sort It I Still Want One
I got this TBS6902 which is meant to be an upgrade to the old TBS6982 to go with a new build but it would not install to windows 10 64Bit it works perfect in windows 7 and windows 8.1 I contacted TBS about the problem and after a lot of emails and 4 reinstalls later I decided its never going to work on my setup so reluctantly I have returned it and I am using my old TBS6982 until I can find a new card please note this is a satellite card for freesat which is connected to a satellite dish Not Freeview which connects to your terrestrial Ariel

Great tuner for a Linux server
I purchased this as the key component in a Kodi multimedia server, using TVHEADEND as the tuner/epg back end. While you have to compile the drivers from scratch, the instructions are very clear and the manufacturer (in the UK at least) offers excellent support, which thankfully I didn't need.Only complaint I can make is that the SATA power connector is just a little bit too short - I had to extend mine by a couple of inches as it wouldn't quite reach the PSU cable.
