Q: can you buy extra batteries

I did not see that offered anywhere. That is why I bought the model with 2 batteries.

Q: What is the difference vbetween the old and new version?

I don't know what the difference is but after very little use mine just quit working and I have had no success getting the company to help. I got mine in May of this year and didn't use it until July and then for very little.

Q: Hello! Do you have to keep the safety button pressed during use?

The two buttons on the chain saw are pressed at the same time to start the chain saw.

Q: I used it for 10 minutes and I like it, but why does the chain always have a loose feeling?

I think that's just a 'thing' with chain saws. I also have the WORX Jaw Saw and you have to adjust the tension quite a bit. I guess it just works itself loose after a short time.
